Accueil très agréable, hôtel un peu loin du centre ville, mais au calme avec un supermarché à côté. Possibilité de massage et spa, à tarif raisonnable. Les chambres sont propres avec mini frigo

Hotel looked rather grand from the outside although that’s as far as it got. Staff were rude and weren’t helpful at all. We checked in and found our room. The room was small but just what we needed as we planning on spending to much there however it smelt awful. This hotel obviously allowed smoking in the rooms and although it no longer does it smelt or stale smoke in the paint walls and even the furniture resulting in even the bedsheets smelling. If we weren’t there for such a small amount or time I would of moved to a different hotel.

Very friendly and friendly staff. They were all very good at the front desk but a special mention for Stefan ?? who was just very cheerful. Very easy to find the hotel as the trams stop 4 and 5 stop outside the hotel.

The Forum is a decent hotel with all expected amenities a 10 minute tram ride from the city centre, so it's just about walkable if you're too late for the public transport. It's clean, the beds are comfortable, the room had a setee and a balcony, and the breakfast was adequate... but the best thing was the extremely friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome and gave us good advice for getting around. Only downsides are: don't expect too much of a view - it's in a quiet residential area with a supermarket next door; the wi-fi was a bit hit and miss; and there is nowhere nearby to eat out. However, there is a great little restaurant called Pizza Italia about 2km towards the centre, and there are loads of places to eat and drink on the Vitosha Boulevard in the centre.

It's a couple of miles out of town, in a dead residential area, so it's ok if the public transport is still running but, if not, you're at the mercy of taxi drivers who make up the fares as they go along! Hotel itself is smart looking but a bit weary... the shower flooded the bathroom floor and there was no place to have a pleasant drink unless you're a smoker. On the plus side, it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was not expensive.

This was a decent enough hotel. the rooms do vary in size but mine was huge. Although stated as a double room, there looked to be two single beds next to each other. The facilities were decent although the TV channels were all in Bulgarian which would be fine for locals but not really much use to me. Not that I was looking to use it. The bathroom was a good size and I had a bath although, again, I do not believe every room does. Also a balcony as well as tea and coffee making facilities. No language problems with staff and the breakfast was quite basic although sufficient. The one problem with one of the beds collapsing was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Having a large supermarket next door was also useful.

Clean room, friendly stuff, comfortable bed, convenient location (very close to a tram stop and supermarket Billa), tea & coffee supplies in the room, quiet area. And all that in a very reasonable price... My place in Sofia. :)
