Forum Hotel

We left early in the morning and in the evening when we came back the room wasn’t clean. We had only 2! Towels for 3 people in the very beginning, we asked for those towels around 18.00 and when we came back at 21.00 there were no clean towels and the room was never cleaned . In 30 hours the room wasn’t cleaned and in 30 hours we had only 2 towels including all the sizes of them. Thanks god I speak Russian so they could understand me, so after some pressure the guy at the reception brought me some towels. He gave it to me. So I had to take it to my room. And I have a problem after surgery. I can’t walk properly!!!! If I didn’t speak Russian we wouldn’t get any towels. No one is mentioning the room cleaning... His attitude was also very rood I don’t know how this hotel gets excellence trip advisor point

Just a one night stopover with family. The immediate hotel vicinity resembles something of a tower block council estate, but there is a very convenient Billa supermarket a stones throw away. The standard rooms were a little disappointing in size and we had to change my mothers due to a smoky smell despite smoking being forbidden. The breakfast was a decent size with plenty of choices. Just a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. Parking for 15 euros a night seemed rather pricy considering the location! Probably the 8th different place I've stayed in Sofia. This one does not remain on my future list though, had parking been free then I would keep it on my list.

We stayed as a rather old beer drinking group and it had all we needed, clean bed, shower, safe wardrobe, drawers. Very close to tram stop to the centre with trams every five minutes. Ten minute walk from bus stop for bus right into Vitosha mountains for a day trip to different bars. Behind the hotel is a lively restaurant and bar used by local families. Lots of Bulgarian/Greek style dancing round the tables (think Zorba the Greek if you are old enough to remember that) there on the Saturday.

About comfort it was not the best, the bed are old-fashion. Have smell in the room. But the restaurant it's ok, the breakfast it's rich

nice hotel but waiters very slow (could not get a evening meal on Saturday night as there was weddings on) Bathroom very small the shower doore can only open half way. Reception very helpfull

Pleasant and comfy hotel close to town and supermarkey next door..

Hotel was comfortable and staff all pleasant but forum hotel is let down by location. I knew the hotel was set out of the city centre (and grabbing a taxi wasn't a problem) but there is little to do around the hotel. I found one restaurant within walking distance which was set on a very busy road. The hotel had its own restaurant but this was taken over on the first night to accommodate a wedding. Spa facilities were running at 50% too. Advice to travellers planning a trip to sofia - take plenty of small notes. No one has any change.

The room was very small, the air conditioning didn't work properly and the internet was slow and unobtainable and when we complained we were told by the IT Engineer that his was ok.

Excellent hotel and within easy reach of city centre. Staff were very friendly and always called us a taxi which only cost about 6lev to centre. We had two children ages 11 and 8 and they loved the stay. Plenty of choice on continental breakfast.
