Homewood Suites by Hilton Somerset

Needs some TLC since both room and hotel public areas need to be refurbished due to wear and tear.

The front desk staff was courtesy and professional. Very attentive and Will to assist when needed.

The place is dirty, room was smelly.

I liked the 24 hr kitchen area I was able to get tea & coffee

There was a strong scent of roach spray in the room (we then later saw a big roach on the wall in the living room area of our suite) upon arrival & a very annoying long beeping sound in the bathroom but it was loud enough to hear it from the front door & bed. When I went to the front desk right after going into the room to ask if they could switch us because we smelled a very stronggg scent of roach spray & the beeping was pretty annoying, there were no other rooms available. I got up around 5 a.m to get water from the fridge & there was an adult sized roach crawling hp the wall. We had to shake all of our belongings & leave. Also the pool water was very cloudy after a large group got out so we didn’t get in.

Family and pet friendly environments. Nice outdoor lounge area spacious lobby area ,Pool amenities . Good breakfast buffet

The rooms were over charged and out dated the ceiling was dirty and seemed to be taped up the beds were hard and itchy and the vents were broken up furniture scraped and raggedy and not to mention the room came with a stove but the room had no pots also the pool and hot tub water was dirty and cloudy nasty and they refused to clean the pool the next day

Our stay was nice. Room was not super clean and fridge was a little broken.

The property was clean and the hotel Clerks were very friendly and polite. Expedia overbooked my two bedroom suite so it wasn’t available when I got ready to check in I was accommodated with two queen suites and I was able to use a meeting room to visit with family who was also staying at the hotel at no additional cost. I would definitely stay here again!! One thing I didn’t like was the cloudy pool!!

I enjoy staying here - the breakfast is excellent and staff are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet.
