Hampton Inn Wichita Falls-Sikes Senter Mall

They had a lot of maintenance stuff going on I couldn’t hear anything but you can smell the plaster and painting . Seemed they were doing upgrades on some rooms .

It is why I always choose a Hampton if available. Consistency, cleanliness and comfort

The arrival was horrible ... Cricket on the bed greeted us pic shown. The sofa bed had no bedding and no extra in the room. The room also was very hot! I called the front desk and she was kinda rude. Saying what size bedding i said sofa i suppose. She sakd come down she would find something instead of bring to the room. I askes if she could help with the thermostat she just stated she.could do is move us. We were in a king all she had was a double we opted out. The sheets once we.got upstairs did not fit and she had no blankets we luckily had one in the car. We woke and had no waffle mix there was noone to tell. Once we were ready to leave the day staff was super pleasant and helpful.

We are HH Members. It is always my policy that if I have a problem with our Hilton Property location, I always take it up with the management first before writing my reviews. It gives them the opportunity to address my concerns. Overall Property: Clean and staff were professional in their overall presentation. Website did not reflect that their Pool and Spa were closed due to repairs. That would have been nice to have known. Breakfast: Breakfast was great. Selection of items both hot and cold would meet the needs of all guests, whether that be the ones who are on the go and don't have the time to sit and eat, but also for those who love to just take their time and enjoy the morning. Being from Louisiana we like strong coffee and the dark roast didn't do it for us. Rooms: We chose a room through the app on the 1st floor. Our rooms were clean and freshly cleaned. Plenty of linens. Lukewarm water for shower but was tolerable. Let the staff know upon check out. Saw that a Service Recovery Bonus in points was added back to my Hilton Honors account. I was very appreciative of that. I hope more importantly that it was something that could be corrected for the next guest staying. Lobby Area: Fresh infused water, coffee and cookies were available in the afternoon. Plenty of seating, even for those that wanted a game night in the lobby. Only concern here is that the front doors are looked at, apparently after a certain hour at night. I do understand that for security reasons, but when my husband needed to load the car the next morning, there was no one at the front desk at the time. I could see this as a fire hazard with no way to exit the property. Something for management to consider. Parking Area: There are plenty of parking spaces available near the front door. Summary: Great location. Not a newer property, but a very well-kept property. I recommend you consider staying at our Go-To Stop Over.

The breakfast was very good and it was nice that the water bottles werecomplimentary.

I think the rooms could use a bit of an upgrade. Lots of scuffs, paint peeling and beds were a bit hard.

TV issues

Pool unavailable with no timetable to he reopened. 3rd floor roof work made our room uninhabitable because of very strong adhesive odor. Receptionist Markicea was nice to find us another room on the 1st floor and was very sorry for that. But other than no pool available when its offered at booking is bad. Hilton needs to act fix that issue

The ladies were friendly at check in and at check out. The property is a bit aged but seemed to be well maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. My husband thought it had a nice shower set up.

The staff was very helpful and allowed us to lock up our bikes in a safe place for the evening so we did not have to take them up to our room. Very pleasant and accommodating.
