Great holiday and hotel was excellent
We booked to an executive room, but slept all night without air condition. It was broken. The toilet was also broken and couldn’t used it. We were down graded to a normal room the 2 night and still the room air conditioning was bad. No compensation was given when reported.

Arrived here quite late on Friday night so as expected was quite busy and noisy but receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a/c however the bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress made alot of noise due to the spring coils and the noise from outside could still be heard in the rooms upstairs.
Requested a big room with two big beds 6 months before staying and was given a small single beds room. Room was humid and uncomfortable - air con didn't work. Key to room only worked 20% of the time and staff ignore out complaints as the key worked in there little machine. Just generally an unpleasant stay. You can book better for cheaper.

Stayed one night for a concert. Was a good walking distance to the Etihad Stadium and staff even gave us directions for a shortcut. The place was tidy and comfortable and didn't hear a bit of traffic even though we were facing on to the road.

The Hotel is located relatively close to the City Centre, it cost us £6.50 for a taxi into the City Centre. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very helpful.
Stayed here on a Saturday night for a concert at the MEN Arena. The hotel is in an industrial area 2 miles from the city centre (a taxi ride there and back). The hotel looks a bit like a prison on the outside but inside it has more of a hotel feel. Large bar / restaurant area serving all day. Great for one weekend night but probably more of a business hotel during the week.
