Good location in slo, close to plenty to do around

The ac unit was old no way to know what setting it was on the door handle to bathroom was broken losse, tv remote was hard to function .. would have been nice for web site to state the hot tub was out of order and that pool was dirty couldn’t really swim in it being one of the things we look forward to when traveling. Overall not bad stay willing go back again soon👍🏼

Good area but the window screen was cut, the carpet was wet and smelled like cheese, and the toilet paper smelled like fire, as if it had been left out during a wildfire

Wowza, where do I start? I’m not generally one to write reviews as I typically just don’t return to places if I’m not fond of them. For this, I’m going out of my way to help future guests steer clear. This place is a literal hazard. I can’t say I’m totally shocked given the price… but I’ve never stayed in a hotel, Inn or motel worse than this. The front desk person was nice and helpful, no complaints there. Once I made it into my room, I noticed the EXTREME staining on the carpet. I set my bags on one of the two beds before I noticed the glitter and crusty stains on the blankets. I’m not talking - washed but wont come out stains - I’m talking thick fluids that dried into a crust and haven’t been washed at all stains. To the point of near gagging, I stripped the comforter to inspect sheets. Big surprise, more stains and full of hairs. I called several hotels nearby but was unsuccessful in finding another room in the middle of the night on such short notice. I went back to inspect the bed again, and thats when I saw a roach - a literal COCKROACH - on the wall. On top of that, the panel for the AC unit was destroyed and not at all in a functional state, several of the lamps were having issues, the ‘furniture’ is dingy, falling apart, and missing pieces, there was a questionable odor, towels were dirty, shower had not been cleaned, the complementary shampoos were used, and the shower caulking was moldy and gross. Absolutely will not stay again, and I’d advise you don’t either.

Beautiful architecture, great locale for hiking SP (starting point), hiked all three peaks from hotel. Nice stroll down to farmers market, a lot of variety nearby.

The balcony was somewhat scenic! The room was clean! Parking was very good!
