They gave me a room that was not made up. The TV has many channels that has only sound no picture

Great downtown location for walking to restaurants and shops. Bed was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, carpets old and stained. In-room refrigerator was smelly, probably because it didn't work. Overall, room condition was just old and tired.

I had a very disappointing experience with a receptionist named Jason, who was working the early morning shift today. He was rude and unprofessional, which is the last thing you want in the tourism sector. He was not welcoming to guests and seemed uninterested in helping anyone. During check out I needed to ask help, this guy wasn't at his desk I had to find a solution because I was in a rush for a meeting and this person was in another room and asks guests to wait up to 45 minutes. (he shows a written message on his desk I have should wait him up to 45 minutes. People visit SLO for a reason, often in a rush for events, and asking to wait that long was completely crazy. I was in a hurry and needed to leave my luggage in a locker room, but Jason was unhelpful and unfriendly. I asked for help but his attitude was frustrating and totally inappropriate for someone in a customer service role. I highly recommend avoiding staying in this place as long as "Jason" is working at the reception. His behavior was unprofessional and should not be tolerated in the hospitality industry. This place is running by unprofessional workers. Jason has professionally and kindness problems

It’s an ok hotel, was clean enough to sleep over, the throws on the bed and carpet isn’t very nice, but nothing horrific

Could have a clean throw on the bed (or none… just sheets)

Never any staff in the front to help at night always gone
