Polynesian Hotel & Suites Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton

I stayed in rm 244 over the last weekend. I was bit by spiders all over my body. So was my daughter and her father. I was swollen for days and very itchy. If there was a spider infestation in the room they obviously did not clean it very well or they would have noticed webs of some sort. The resort there is also only open from 12pm to 8pm which I feel is a scam. Most places are open earlier and stay open later. You get charges a $20 resort fee each day your there on top of everything else which just doesn’t make sense to me.

Run down and dirty! Balconies unsafe and unusable. Pools no longer filled with water. Very disappointing!

It's a shame that it's such a beautiful property and the whole property outside was full of weeds. This property was one of my grandparents' favorites😔

It was good location for what we needed but hotel itself was rundown and not well maintained .

It was a total dump, outdoor pool was ok but the room and the property were terrible, do yourself a favor and spend a bit more money and go somewhere nicer!

Was not aware you could not use balcony

My family and I recently stayed at the Polynesian and we really enjoyed ourselves. Now, it’s not the newest or the fanciest resort but they are taking strides to update the entire resort. It’s “under construction” if you will, but some of the indoor and outdoor pools were open to public some were not. Some rooms have microwaves some do not. Some rooms you are not allowed to open your balcony door because of renovations however they are very accommodating. Most of the staff don’t really speak good English but they are very polite and will try to be helpful. I have this thing where I want to visit a different resort every time I go to Wisconsin Dells so I probably won’t stay there again soon but I definitely would stay there again ☺️ oh, the only thing I literally had an issue with was the fact that my balcony door would not lock properly either. I was on the first floor so a little unsafe but yeah. Keep up the renovations Polynesian.

This place should be torn down that's how bad it is. Indoor water park is used for a storage unit, untapped maintenance outside around the pools. Only one kiddie pool open. Sliding doors to each of the rooms are screwed shut. Balcony word is molded and ready to break. Wallpaper falling off with mold behind it. And the employee walkway crumbs and leftover paper all over the place not being vacuumed for months it looked like. Don't try to call them because it is impossible to reach them voicemail is always full. No one picks up the phone. Pictures on website are completely deceiving and not true to what the resort looks like. Stay away from this place!! Absolutely

The resort definitely needs more TLC. The room was very clean however the rest of the resort needed a lot of maintenance. The outdoor waterpark was not fully functional. The lazy river was closed down. The indoor waterpark had one water slide working and the kiddo's pool area was closed off. They also had half the lights inside the waterpark shut off. The carpet all over the resort except in the suite was old and dirty. Not a bad choice for what I paid but would definitely get more customers if a little more TLC was given.
