Boca Brava Lodge

The food and drinks were excellent and the staff was incredible friendly and accommodating.

My only two complaints was I paid more by booking thru a third party so I would recommend to anybody wanting to stay here to just book with them directly. My other complaint is the AC unit filter wasn’t clean so I had to clean it myself to get the AC working.

Amazing location, great staff, great food, great wildlife and beaches

They didn't reply to messages I sent before we started our trip but answered the phone when I called them

The staff was really friendly. They even baked a cake for my girlfriends brithday. We could see the howlermonkeys during breakfast in the trees next to the terrace.

The hotel needs some maintenance.

We loved the views and the wonderful friendly women that worked there! It was great seeing and hearing the howling monkeys. The food was good and reasonably priced. Happy hour was a bonus.

It was super hot and humid with no AC. The rooms could use some upgrading.

The Lodge is a gem in the island jungle. Anyone visiting northern Panama should consider Boca Brava Lodge a great stay. The Howler monkeys and birds will surprisingly captivate your attention.

Wonderful location, right in the forest of Boca Brava. Exceptionally welcoming and helpful hosts: Frank and Jessica did their utmost to make our stay as pleasant and as much fun as possible. A big `Thank you' to them both.

Food was good-not excellent. The views were great. Lots of monkeys. Nothing more to add at this time

There is no mention that there are 95 steps up to reach the resort. Booking.com/resort say there are ac units-which is NOT TRUE. Only a select few have AC! The shared rooms are in bad shape as is the facility that has the sink and old refrigerator. This property is not as it is presented! I showed the owner my booking.com confirmations where it said there was AC. He replied that it is simply a representation of some rooms. The first night 0-4 had AC-second night 2-4 had AC and we had to pay extra. Very disappointed in how the propery was listed and how it truly is.

The location is amazing! Frank and Jessica are great hosts who run a nice spot. The nearby beaches are stunning and great for swimming. The dining area has many levels of decks where you can watch the ocean and monkeys! It is not a fancy establishment by any means but has the basics and is in a beautiful spot!

Lots of stairs involved in coming and going. No other food options are nearby or place to prepare your own food, so you are limited to restaurant options.
