Hotel Damier

Room was a bit small, but clean and the hotel is in a prime location

Good hotel with friendly staff. No on site car park. Difficult to find the car park which is remote and a short walk to the hotel.

Very nice; we stayed there for 3 nights in conjunction with going to see the Paris-Roubaix race. Overall very nice, great location, lots of things to see and places to eat within walking distance. Our room was spacious and very clean. One of our mornings we had an early start and needed to leave before breakfast started. I went to the restaurant hoping to get a cup of coffee and left with a tray that had a small pot of coffee and some pastries! Kudo's to the restaurant staff. The included breakfast the other days was excellent. Every member of staff that we interacted with was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. English was spoken which was nice; I wish I spoke more languages but I don't so I am appreciative of those who do! We would be thrilled to stay here again and hopefully we will.

We loved the Hotel Damier! The place is lovely. They are renovating and we were in the older rooms...wondering why they were renovating. Marble heated bathroom floors!

The service is good,with free wi-fi and the location is near to all establishments with friendly staff and neighborhood.

We stayed overnight, and also had dinner and breakfast here. Our room was nicely furnished and comfortable, and was also quiet, being at the back of the hotel and with an internal view. Supper was quite outstanding: in our opinion, it is worth coming to this hotel for the food alone. Breakfast next morning was of more average quality, but still quite acceptable.

Perfect

Super room but very disappointed by the lack of Air Conditioning. Had a very disturbed night as we needed to have our windows open due to the room temperature and we were then subjected to associated noise as the room was opposite the Grote Markt & Belfry Tower, that chimes throughout the night! Average Breakfast, nothing out of the ordinary.

Very well kept house of tradition. The single room I stayed in was a bit on the small side, but the charms of a grand era still resides within this wonderful house. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, with a great value for money 3course market menu. All in all a wonderful place to stay.
