Best hotel at which we have stayed in Europe in the last 20 years of international travel! Service, comfort, food, staff - all fabulous. Great location!!

Worth picking. Sits right next to unesco heritage place and has a long history itself. Good beeakfast, nice room, very friendly staff. I just wish there was more places to charge my devices.

Very nice hotel right in the heart of Kortrijk. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent restaurant. Hotel layout a little weird. Would definitely stay again.

this appears to be the top of the line hotel for this area, it is on the costly side so i would expect the amenities of such. first, hotel front desk staff ranged from very friendly and attentive to the opposite, it took me 15+ minutes to check in with one other in front of me; next, the breakfast was fine and the person in charge was very attentive and responsive to any request; the room was generally clean but we had one used coffee cup and dish lying on the furniture for two days and was never picked up during our 5 day stay; the room did not have a coffee/tea maker; room was large and well furnished; the hotel had no business area with a computer and printer for general use; parking was costly but convenient; it took us two day to find the in room refrigerator as it was in a dresser and difficult to even tell it was a cooler; my room had the hotel boiler right outside of it and it rumbled and this is not acceptable for a high end hotel; tv didn't work when i arrived but fixed quickly. Overall a nice hotel but missing the items generally associated with an upper end hotel.

Lovely hotel slap bang in the middle of town. Just a shame about the breakfast as it was really poor and we weren't offered any WiFi details at all.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. However be warned we booked with the hotel the restaurant for the three of us for dinner. When we arrived nothing was said, we booked in came down for dinner that evening to find the restaurant was not open on a Monday night. This was more than annoying aswe were tied and did not want to trawl the streets for another restaurant. They had a brasserie with very small menus that did not appeal. One reason for going to this hotel was the revues for the restaurant.

Lovely hotel and staff were really welcoming and helpful. My only criticism is that the decor in the room was dated (I appreciate it's a very traditional hotel but the lobby and the dining room have clearly been modernised sympathetically) and that the bathroom would have benefitted from a shower too. Otherwise it was excellent. I would happily stay there again.

Beautiful town

A very nice, historic hotel in an excellent central location. We found it well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Car parking in the underground "Schouwberg" is only perhaps 2-300m walk from the hotel, is not too expensive considering the location and perfectly safe. Our hotels.com deal included the hotel's buffet breakfast: a good thing, for at 20 Euros per person it is overpriced. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within a short walk.
