Cozy Villa with Hot springs and Nature

Very roomy with a secluded feel, located close to the coast. Everything was well curated and Nao clearly puts the finishing touches on based on the language spoken by guests.

Having a spotter when coming out of the driveway was helpful as it was very tight and alone I could’ve easily scratched my car.

Very bright, clean house, well equipped with attention to detail. We stayed a week with our dog and there is plenty of room for five people. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen, washing machine, hot tub, powerful heater, A/C, TV, etc. A good home for a long stay. The host is very professional and responds quickly to any request. The location is perfect for hiking on the beautiful Jogasaki coast. We took a 2 hour direct express train from Tokyo-Station to Izu-Kogen and a taxi to the villa. A few restaurants and the Jogasaki Station are about a 15-20 minute walk. I highly recommend Ugashin restaurant for lunch. A pleasant 20 minute walk. For more action, a taxi to Izu-Kogen is easy and inexpensive around ¥1500.

Overall perfect stay. Nice place to barbaque.

Close to the ocean, but no view. My wife liked the old Japanese traditional design of the house. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and had hot springs water for the large bath tub. The bed was very comfortable and our dog loved the sun coming into the rooms. It was easy to find local supermarkets, buy food and cook our own meals.

The shower didn’t have hot water and it appears to be broken. It was hard to find the hose in the dark. The parking entry is very narrow and hard to park under the house if you have a large car. It would have been nice to have the house heated up before our arrival as it took many hours for the house to warm up.

A great house with more than comfortable space for four people, this villa offers a kitchen space, a private onsen tube and a balkony in an area close to walkable sightseeing spots for Izu. There is also free parking available which is helpful as you might not be able to get here pretty easily without a car. Restaurants and shops are also mostly reachable with a car. The host let us use the washing machine which was extremly helpful. The area is also great for diving as Futo is within walking distance and many dive centers are around.

Keep in mind that this villa is in a morr remote place than the typical stay for japan, so even though there are many prevention measures (lots of nets and detergents around the windows) by the host you might find a waso or spider entering the house.
