Cozy Villa with Hot springs and Nature

The views from the balcony are stunning, and the bath water is hot spring water, so there is no need to go somewhere else, even though you are right next to a hot spring place! We really liked the traditional Japanese style, with sliding doors, traditional bedroom floors, and a lovely wicker chair. It is in a great location as it is close to lots of attractions. Also, the owner is very responsive to questions. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay, and we will definitely go back!

It’s a traditional Japanese house with Tatami. Everything is neat and clean. We have all facilities we need.

The parking lot is a lift but inconvenient for new driver to park in. We found a parking lot nearby at last.

I stayed here with my family including two cats for four nights. This was my second visit to this property, and it was a nearly perfect stay for us again. The property reminded me of a good old Japanese style. We did not feel any inconvenience as the owner prepared everything perfectly. The onsen spa is available in the property, which was one of my favorites. The owner responded to my message quickly and was really kind. It is located in a calm and quiet place and is convenient to access everywhere by car. All in all, the property is worth considering if you are planning to visit this area with more than two people.

Personally, there was nothing I did not like. If you would like to enjoy the nature around the house, this property would be a good choice.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful and very quiet neighbourhood located just a short walk from a spectacular coastal trail. We loved the bathtub (onsen), which is fed by a hot spring. The onsen is very relaxing to use. The host replied quickly to all questions. The rooms were traditional and beautifully decorated. Bed rooms were quite large with bed mats, sheets, duvets were very confortable, especially the duvets. AC worked well and kept the place cool in the heat of the summer. The garden around the place was nice and the vegetation in the area were so beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen was fully equipped and we used it for cooking a few meals. The living room was simple and confortable. If you're arriving by train, the home is only a 22-minute walk from a train station. The nearest grocery store is at least a 30-minute walk, so you might want to bring groceries with you. However, keep in mind that a lot of the cafes and restaurants around the house have limited hours.

There was an issue with lighting the gas stovetop: the battery was depleted, but the host quickly replied and someone came over to replace it.

Beautiful location and space, the futons were comfortable, and the appliances provided were working well. They also provided detergent and hangers for the washing clothing :)

The heater for one of the water outlets (shower) wasn't working, but the host was willing to communicate regarding the issue. It's rather far from supermarkets and convenience stores without a car, but the view while walking is nice.

Very nice interior, with a lodge-like traditional Japanese home environment. Place to park as well!

The exterior of the house had quite a few bugs and the trees were overgrown, I found it scary to exit the house at night

The location of the villa was lovely and peaceful and really great area for walking. Within the villa the hot spring bath was a real treat and the futon bed very comfortable The host was most helpful in organising a taxi back to the station for us. The guidance regarding check in worked well when we arrived and the details about the villa were helpful. Suggest that providing some details of shops and restaurants nearby could also be helpful for future visitors.
