やはり温泉が良かった。湯上がりにもなかなか汗が引かなかった。

敷き布団が薄かった。あとBBQコンロはガスではなく、炭タイプが良かった。結局持参のスキレットで肉を焼きました。

周辺は緑が多く、非常に静かな環境でした。朝、玄関先にリスが２匹遊びに来ていました。城ケ崎海岸、門脇埼灯台まで徒歩１０分かからない位の距離にあります。周囲は上り、下りが多いです。 建物はやや古い感じですが、手入れはされていて宿泊に不便さを感じることはありません。温泉は楽しませてもらいました。 鍵の受け渡し方法など当方の質問にもすぐに対応していただき、宿泊案内は丁寧でした。 自炊するには十分な食器、鍋、フライパン、電子レンジ、オーブントースター、冷蔵庫あります。

駐車場への進入路は登り坂となっており、正直狭いと感じます。大型のワゴン、SUVだと神経を使うかもしれません。 洗面タオル、歯磨き等、いわゆるアメニティはありません。バスタオルは用意してありました。徒歩圏内にコンビニ、スーパーはありません。東急ストアまで約３キロ弱、マックスバリューまで約３．３キロ位です。

The villa was spacious and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen. We didn't use the barbecue as we were a small group, but we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace area to have breakfast or tea and sitting on the engawa to enjoy the breeze. The location was also great as we could easily access the lighthouse, hiking routes and other sights by walking. Would love to visit again (maybe with a slightly bigger group) at other times of year to enjoy the place in different seasons!

No issues with the villa itself, but as it is located at the bottom of an incline, it was a little tough walking back up with luggage. Also (as travellers with no car) unfortunately the villa is not that close to grocery/convenience stores and there were not many dinner options for foreign tourists at this time of year (mid-late March). It was not a big issue for us as we planned in advance to get food from Izu-kogen before coming back to the villa, but less-prepared tourists might be caught unaware.
