The house itself was lovely, heating worked well and the futon and the tatami rooms were very cosy. The onsen was an incredible addition, the bathtub could fit one or two people at most comfortably, but the water was amazing. We had a great time, the location was very good for exploring Izu.

The parking spot was a bit treacherous, but mostly because we were driving a big van. Some kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, and maybe coffee would have been a great addition but it was not the end of the world.
