Guests highly rate the quiet environment and frequently praise the convenient for short stays.
The hotel is very nice, as well as the service personnel. The location was real convenient for our trip.
Stayed here two nights on a trip through mexico. Pro’s: -Staff at the reception very helpful and friendly -Pool is charming, though small -Rooms are nice and clean, good beds, with A/C Con’s: -Breakfast was bad. Fruits were warm, baked banana was cold and tasted like it was made the day before. -At noon I ordered a grilled chicken, the chicken was still raw so I had to send it back. If you eat raw meat in a country like this you will be sick for a week!! -Only two relax chairs at the pool, with stains all over -AC in the room is very loud, and if you turn it off you won’t sleep because of the heat. So bring earplugs -There an off putting smell of fried/baked food that lingers all day in the restaurant, at the pool, and at the reception -Staff does not speak English
We stayed here for 2 nights during our Merida Visit and we loved the place. It's located in walking distance to the main square and you can reach lots of restaurants by foot as well. Once it was raining really heavy and so we enjoyed our lunch in the hotel restaurant which also offers really nice dishes. Our room was clean and cozy and we loved the pool that is refreshing and relaxing after a city walk. The staff here is really friendly and we would definitely come back for our next visit.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. It has a terrace on the roof where you can sit and relax or have a nice dinner. Overall wonderful.
Not good at all, will be writing to hotels.com separately with complaint. I will be demanding a refund.
The hotel has old world charm, but could use an update in the room decor and bathrooms. The pool is small and not heated. The free breakfast was the best feature, but there are better deals on rooms with more modern features closer to the city center.
Towels and sheets very old and poor quality. Nice parking with security. No breakfast included.
Perfect location. Easy walk to downtown and convenience stores. Very friendly staff.
This is a hotel that caters to tour groups, and is not the best choice for those travelling on their own. The small restaurant that offers a complimentary breakfast gives preference to the tour groups. Even though we were the first in line to wait for the breakfast room to open, we were asked to wait an hour until the tour group was served first. The hotel is not close to the central plaza and there are no restaurants nearby so it is very inconvenient to try to eat elsewhere in the evening. The air conditioning in the room was very inefficient and went on and off through the night which made it very hard to sleep. Although they have internet service it was very spotty in the room. Altogether we would not recommend this hotel for independent travelers. It would be ok if you are in a tour group and the air conditioning and internet issues did not bother you.
Good service and comfortable rooms. Location is great! Close to one of the traditional old neighborhood in Merida and to downtown.
