Guests highly rate the quiet environment and frequently praise the convenient for short stays.
it a great pick to stay near downtown and go for a walk to main places near to principal park in the city. great parking place.
This is a beautiful hotel, a little off the beaten path. I wouldn't say this hotel is perfectly located for tourists as it is a 10-15 minute walk to most things, BUT it is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were large, the shower was nice. The internet was sketchy in the rooms. I had to go downstairs to the pool area in order to use the internet. There is an indoor pool which came in handy during the really hot day I was there. There weren't many restaurant options in the neighborhood. I ended up getting room service for dinner and breakfast and found it to be very reasonably priced and with a nice selection of local and American-styled foods.
A quick busniess trip to Merida. The hotel exceeded my expectations. It has a largeevery secure parking lot on site, a real plus. Location is walking distance to downtown. For the price is a great choice. Not a resort by any means. There were quite a few large touist groups.
My partner and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is on a busy street, if you're a light sleeper request a room towards the back of the hotel. The room furnishings are nice, good linens, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. The one draw back was the pool, the water was swamp green and cloudy. The restaurant food could use improving but the prices were reasonable.
It was a plesent stay, close to everything
Nice staff, good breakfast but hotel needs some TLC.
Although we only stayed one night we had a pleasant experience, we could walked to Merida oldest parks, and historic places, and for the price it was much more than what we expected.
If you have spent time off the beaten path in Mexico, this hotel will be what you expect. It is not elegant, but a good value and has the taste of a classic Mexican hotel. About 8 blocks from the Plaza. The restaurant is average for the Yucutan, which in our view is below average for Mexico. I will probably look for another hotel next time, but it was ok.
We stayed for one night before catching our flight home. We liked the fact that the hotel had a parking that was closed at night. Breakfast was fine, sufficient variety of choices. Price is good. Location OK, the centre is only a 20 minute walk, the airport a 15 minute ride. Our room was noisier than we expected (traffic noise and touring buses at the carpark). The noisiest however was the airco. This really should be repaired or replaced. As it was not too hot, we switched it off.
We stayed here our first night in Merida and were so pleased. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful both on checkin and checkout. We rented a suite - well worth the extra money. The bed was fabulous, and the bathroom was luxurious. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel that served an authentic breakfast to get you going for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
