This is also a relatively new hotel to area and has an excellent lounge and it okay dining options. The rooms were clean and wonderfully decorated. The location is superb.

you have to request for the room to be done , even that they don’t do it , very expensive rate for room condition, would nor recommend this hilton at all

It was pretty on a marina

When I booked the hotel through booking.com I wrote that I would need to have access an hour early than the normal 3 pm checkin to get ready for the wedding at 4. I explained that we would make up the time by checking out early. I called on Thursday just to make sure that they could accommodate us. First I spoke to corporate Hilton who transferred me to the Hilton Garden inn Kent island marina. The woman at the hotel said they have many weddings but they will try to accommodate my family and she would make a note of it. When we got there the women said two rooms wouldn’t be ready until 3 o’clock. They gave us 1 room but it was 11 of us trying to get ready in one room. 3 o’clock rolled around and I went down to the front desk to check in for the other two rooms before leaving to the wedding. The other two rooms were not available at check in time at 3 pm. I explained to the woman that I had called on Thursday and explained the situation to make sure and said she would note my account. The woman at the front desk said well you didn’t speak to me. I wasn’t here. I said well it’s check in time now and it’s not ready and now I’ll have to check in after the wedding. I told her I would Contact Hilton regarding this. At the same time, they also gave the wrong room to a couple and the front desk man chased them down to get the room card back and another couple was upset because the king room that they booked was not going to be available. It was a total mess. When I went to check in at 10:30 pm the night desk man said they upgraded your rooms. It really didn’t matter because we were leaving at 7 am and the band playing outside played loud music until 1:00 am making it unable to sleep.

Room next to me ran an all night party, and the night staff was not capable of doing anything about it.

I am writing to formally share my disappointment with the condition of my recent stay in Room 321 at your Kent Narrows property. While I understand the location demands a premium, the room was significantly below the standards I expect from Hilton and was not worth the price paid. Key issues included: Cleanliness & Maintenance – Balcony furniture was dirty and uncomfortable, the railing was in need of paint, and the ceiling appeared moldy. The shower leaked, soaking the bathroom floor, and the trim around the shower fixtures was misaligned and askew. Hygiene Concerns – I found hair from a previous guest on the provided body wash bottle, which was also empty upon arrival. Housekeeping Policy – Cleaning every other day for a room at this price point felt unreasonable, and given what I observed at check-in, I chose not to request additional service. I took photographs of these conditions as documentation. Please direct me to the appropriate contact or portal where I can submit these images for review. Great property no doubt. However some balcony rooms are obstructed by a patio and stairs. I’ll ask for a higher floor next time.

After driving 2 hours we arrived for our anniversary stay at the hotel and I showed my confirmation on my phone to check in and they told me they did not have a reservation for us and they were all sold out and had no more rooms. They told us that they would try to get to the bottom of it and asked me to leave my phone number while the manager searched and they would call me back while we left and went and got some lunch and I never received a phone call back from anybody. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
