It was the perfect location. Very central to everything!

For a “luxury” hotel certain aspects just weren’t met I found. For example there were no doormen to open the doors/valet was super understaffed, no bell boys it appeared, our towel bar fell down without any reason, there was mould in the shower and it looked like they hadn’t actually detail cleaned in a while. There was hair/dust/crumbs etc in all the corners of the mattresses and bed area. Just didn’t seem to be four star that’s all. The linens however were super clean. No lint/hair or stains noted.

The Hotel is in a great location right on the River Walk and within walking distance of the Alamo and Art Museum. The rooms are large and very comfortable with plenty of room to stretch out and their onsite restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices.

Our room was fairly close to the elevators, which were extremely loud. Would definitely recommend asking for a room away from them. Also, our room had a bathtub rather than a walk in shower and was not equipped with grab bars, so be aware of this if that is important to you.

The 5 stars are for Front desk Associate Abbas is the best! He made our trip memorable for my family and was very accommodating. This is a busy hotel, valet was pricey and hectic at check out time. But they worked it the best they could, it is just a small space to move the cars in and out.
