"Close to the train station (west)"

We enjoyed the hotel for what it is, a place to rest and eat breakfast. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. The hallways were a little drab but the room was comfortable. The staff, two separate members, helped us plan a little and we are thankful for that. Very convenient tot he west train station and I slept well there. I would stay there again but would also likely look around again too for something over by the east station.

"Overall stay was alright"

The best thing with the hotel is the location. Very near the train station and restaurants. Cosy dinning place for breakfast. Breakfast was ok, typical breakfast in Switzerland, breads, cold ham, cereals and yogurt. Great view at the open space at the breakfast place. However, there were minimum aminities. Room is a bit small. TV was very small. Shower area and bathroom too were tight. Overall stay was quite alright.

"Hotel Merkur Interlaken"

I have used this hotel before, so I knew it's location. Booked more for convince as it's across the road from Interlaken West rail station and bus stands. Staff were friendly and helpful with check-in and out. Breakfast was usual European style. Room was clean and basic, which was all I needed as I was traveling most the time I was in Interlaken.

Hotel's location is great just across from the railway station. There is no air conditioning and the room is very basic.

"Basic hotel next to the station"

Basic hotel next to Interlaken west.. we had to check in late.. so they arranged for a taxi person to let us in.. we had to pay an extra CHF15 for the privilege (this was not made clear earlier). The room was basic & clean..but no issues getting a good night's sleep .. Bathroom was small but clean.. Breakfast spread was decent.. but they ran out of eggs 30 mins before closing time..
