Hotel Merkur Interlaken

Clean, contemporary facilities. Good breakfast. Excellent location outside Interlaken West station - literally 100 feet to the trains

It is a bad hotel with horrible staff ready to quarrel and belittle all the time. no wifi, poor toilets and drainage. poor toiletries. except for location, nothing is good about this hotel.

It's amazing especially the front desk reception. She is very helpful when I ask for her assistant regarding my delay baggage

Great place to stay! Great location and helpful staff! Our only complaint is there is only one (very small) mirror and it is hard to get ready with multiple people!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Bad experience in the first night. The sewage pipe of the bathtub was blocked, we found it difficult to take a bath. The hotel was full and we could not change another room, and the receptionist found no way to fix it. She promised that she would leave a message to the receptionist on duty the next day to help us find somebody to fix it, but on the other day we found that the other receptionist seemed didn’t know what had happened. Also on the second day, there was no energy supply for all rooms at one side of the hotel, and the receptionist again had no solution for it. Lucky that energy supply resumed normal after breakfast, and nothing bad happened again in the coming days. One of the receptionists, the old lady, was very impolite. The other receptionists were very polite amd helpful. The pros of the hotel is the walkable distance to Interlaken West Station. But there are some other hotels which are also close to the station. If I have a chance to travel to Interlaken again, I will not stay in this hotel again.

Near the station Price too expensive

Hotel location was fantastic. Just across the railway station. Very easy to get about with shops and amenities nearby. Hotel is not so new but staff are friendly.

Friendly welcome and friendly staff. Convenient for my needs as it’s directly opposite Interlaken West rail and bus station. Easy access to the town, restaurants and shops. My room was clean and tidy.
