Hotel Zentrum

You do get what you pay for at this hotel. The staff was great, I mean really really excellent. The hotel is just really thread-worn. I mean EVERYTHING needs to be updated ... except the staff. Again, they really really helpful and nice. The location and surrounding neighborhood were especially good for me, since I was only there on business for 3 days. As it happened though, there is also a lot of construction going on in the area, some of it at night, which might be though for some folks. For my business trip, none of that mattered, just PLEASE won't the owner of this hotel give their staff better facilities in which to work?!?

Good hotel located in prime location

i never supouse 3 stars has no air conditionad i stop in many hotels for less price at the same city less expensives with more confort but was my problem not check before i was also very dissapointed for the charge in one telephone call to U.S.A 22 minutes 36 euros the same connection a day after i pay .28 cents a minute from the same call

I had a 24 hour layover in Frankfurt and stayed at the Hotel Zentrum. It was in a perfect location. It was a 5 minute walk to the river and the old town (including St. Barthomew's Cathedral) and the main shopping area is RIGHT outside. It is also very well located for transit to and from the airport, and the metro station is right in front. the metro traces approx 15 minutes to get to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and they had a full hot breakfast in the morning. I knew going in that there was no air conditioner, which is normally fine. This time, however, it was an exceptionally hot day and I did have trouble sleeping in the heat. The room was nice, but don't expect any fancy shampoo or conditioner. (Definitely plan to use your own!) Final thing to note: it is LOUD! There was construction across the street that began early on Saturday morning. Since this is a popular area of town, the nightlife was loud until the early hours of the morning. Not a problem if you're a light sleeper, but consider asking for a room that is higher up to avoid the noise tunnel. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I'm not sure I would stay a week there, but for a quick overnight trip, the convenience and value were well worth it!

The room was dirty and not in keeping with the standard I would expect from a City Location. I was so upset with the quality of the room i checked out immediately and had to stay at a different hotel.

This is a basic, I mean basic hotel. If you are planing on sight seeing and shopping during your stay in Frankfurt, then you your in luck. This place is meant for sleeping, which is all I did in it. Train station is a 30 second walk to your right as soon as you leave the hotel. Shops everywhere! Friendly staff.

Beds are kind of hard. Paid parking is about a block away. Plenty of restaraunts and a pedestrian mall close by. Buffet Breakfast was good.

Hotel very central. All sights & railway station within easy walking distance. S & U bhan stations metres from hotel. Street noise a problem on one night. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Not a bad hotel... staff was nice and location was terrific and safe... but hotel is not up to the standard one expects from its 4+ star rating. Hallways were dark and dingy, carpet in the room was old and stained, beds were not very comfortable, upgrades in bathrooms were nice but you could see the sloppy workmanship. Again, not a bad hotel, but expect the conditions of a 2-star in a great location.
