"Excellent"

8.0

Great getaway location, completely quiet and secluded, with dedicated and friendly staff. Seemed to know you after a day there, and were there to help with every need (including a request for a toothbrush). Everything was very clean. Not much to do after dark, of course, but it was relaxing to have a glass of wine and sit! One complaint was that we were there in the middle of remodeling, so the library wasn't done. Wait, another is that they nickeled and dimed on a lot of things - does it really cost 6 USD for a deck of cards?! Come on now.

"Beautiful, top service, boring, expensive"

6.0

In short, beautiful, top service, boring, expensive, food mediocre. Boring in the sense nothing happens after 9.30pm. Expensive - they will overcharge you whatever they are selling - between 100% to 1000%. Food is mediocre considereing the high room rates/top class resort and the chefs are not able to keep the food warm and fresh and since this is the only hotel on the island, you have no choice but to eat whatever they are serving - at their mercy - good or bad. This is my 2nd time there - never again

"Remote"

Lovely place but very , very quite , 3 days would of been nice instead of 5 , I got bored very quick with not much to do there, and very over priced for what you get

"A clear rip-off"

2.0

We stayed at El Nido (Lagen) for some days and were deeply disappointed. Far and foremost because we were treated like a "walking credit card". The hotel itself was already very expensive (far more that similar or even better resorts of its kind) and still everything (even simple items like a sandwich for the flight) were charged separately and at unreasonable prices. In addition, most of the catalogues features are substantially overstated and simply not true. We would certainly advice people to rethink their choice and choose another resort at equal price but at far better price worthiness.

"JSUT BRILLIANT"

10.0

Two things i'd recommend. 1 - website doesn't state this, but you can fly from manila to el nido. we didn't know and drove 6 hours from Puerto Princessa to El Nido 2 - try get this in a package ie flights and accom inclusive. might be cheaper in the long run last point. all activities are included. this isn't stated in website, but it def makes it value for money. enjoy
