Location, friendly, food, non-commercial, parking and pool excellent. Beds a bit hard for my taste.

The rooms were big and comfortable. The beds were very good (we had a king). The views are breathtaking. Loved our stay and a great location for day trips.

This is a hotel with history and character. We had a room with a balcony to enjoy the warm weather and views over the countryside above Bilbao. It has a good-sized swimming pool but the water was a bit murky and only one of the underwater lights was working. The grounds and the golf course are wonderful for walks. The main positive for us was the staff -- what a helpful and friendly group! We especially appreciated Tamara's help!

Very nice old mansion. It’s a bit old but in good repair. It’s not like your posh city style modern hotel, but the ambiance fully makes up for it. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the restaurant is really good

Beautiful property in outskirts of city surrounded by golf course greenery and hills beyond. Palace is elegantly decorated with restaurant for all meals. Close to city activities with a car. Quiet, elegant.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. Our room was large and very comfortable, on the ground floor and with a hedge-enclosed 'balcony' for sitting out in sunshine. The staff were very friendly and very helpful about some unforseen minor problems. Breakfasts were good, in a dining room of large circular tables. But the dinners, in the bistro, were excellent, especially the monkfish for two. The 10mx4m pool in the basement was very quiet when we were there, and has a view of a corner of the garden. For guests with a car the hotel is in an ideal spot both for the airport and for getting into Bilbao if you want to avoid being in the city itself.
