"Exceptional"

The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for a family like ours that needed a home away from home. We had all the amenities needed: full kitchen and washer/dryer. The hotel is well maintained and within walking distance to the Gulangyu ferry terminal. Breakfast is always plentiful and delicious. The staff is thoughtful and very helpful with answering our questions about local attractions. We highly recommend this luxury hotel for families visiting Xiamen for the first time. Make sure to coordinate with the hotel ahead of time for tickets to Gulangyu Island and Xiamen University because these popular attractions require reservations well in advance.

Thanks hotel for the birthday cake! It's just the hotel is a bit tired but totally fine to stay, the carpet at the corner behind the door is a bit dusty, hope that could be improved. Breakfast wise, it's ok (I wouldn't say it's great), seating space is quite crowded.

1) Front desk at hotel couldn't confirm my expedia booking while checking in but officer was polite and literally dissolve the confusion. 2) It would be better if the hotel have a queuing system at the check in/out counter. I was jumped queue by others despite I stood and waited beside the counter while the officer attended to another check in/out.
