The villas with private pool are really nice, simple but very well structured

Widespread, the villas were too simple, lacked a touch of warmth and welcome. Staff mediocre as everywhere in Fiji, but this staff especially arrogant. Also security wise, the water villas and other superior villas are on the other side of the Main Street (cross island street)- in the evening it is not illuminated. The tiles on the floor of the villa compound are not anti slippery- they are made for walls but definitely not flooring.

We spent 6 days at this resort and had a lovely time. From the time they picked us up at the local airport until they dropped us off, the staff were amazing, extremely friendly and caring. We stayed on an Edgewater Bure and I would highly recommend that. You could go straight from your Bure down into the water. You can snorkel around your Bure and it is honestly as if you’re looking at a salt water aquarium filled with fish and other sea creatures. If you need to go into town, they will order a taxi for you for $20 which is very convenient. We did like that this resort had some sort of daily activity for the guests to do at no charge! For the paid activities, we did the waterfall, snorkeling at Turtle alley and the Market trip. I would recommend all of those 3. The manager checks up on you often to ensure everything is going ok which is helpful and nice of him. The resort has a very nice jungle feel to it on one side and a beach vibe on the other side! The only issues we encountered was the food which we found to be very inconsistent from day to day even if you ordered the same thing. It wasn’t bad, just inconsistent in taste, presentation and the way it was cooked. If you do get a chance to try their steak and seafood restaurant that’s open a couple days a week, you have to try the fillet mignon!!! The other issue was the lack of WiFi coverage. Overall, I rate it a 8 out of 10 and would definitely recommend this place if you want to disconnect from the world for a while.

"They need improvement "

Service was not good, took 2 days to just get a knife for our villa, staff didn’t do the best cleaning, we asked for help on how to work the safe, no one ever showed up. The staff were bringing other guests to our private villa to take pictures which scared my young niece as she was changing in her room and random people walked by her bedroom. Meal service is so slow, they don’t have the best chefs. The only thing that made things better is the refund we got for the awful service

The property's location is good, but Breakfast did not meet our expectations.

Upon checking, the refrigerator was not working. After multiple requests, maintenance showed up, who we overheard on the radio making racist comments in Fiji—Hindi. The front-of-house staff was great, but the maintenance people were racist-type guys. I reported to the management, but they all said we would get to the upper management. I would like all of you to read the following; (1) Injury Reported: While sitting on one of the benches in the patio area, I fell backward, and my head landed on a rock. It was later discovered that the bench was missing a leg. Despite sustaining serious bruises and requesting first aid, the front desk staff were unresponsive, claiming they were busy with other guests. They promised to file an incident report and provide a copy, but this was never done. Their lack of attention to our situation was disappointing, and we believe more could have been done to ensure our safety. (2) Bedbugs: My son had rashes all over his body due to bed bugs, and nothing was done. They just brought a small cream to put on it. The room was declined. (3) earthworms invaded our living room, and no action was taken despite our report. This lack of response was disappointing, and we believe more could have been done to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the property.

My room was infested with roaches. Three days in a row i will see roaches in my bed sheets and bed head and restroom. I expressed this at the reception and management did nothing. Last night was scary as i saw two in my bed scrolling my feet when i woke up at 5:30 am and decided to leave the room. went to reception on PJs and they had me there for three hours in my PJs crying. The gust actually helped me. I ended up sleeping showering at another guest room (strangers). Guests who saw me at reception were concerned and helped me. The Hotel did nothing; just saying I am sorry did not solve the matter. Reception promised another room and i waited for three hours crying at reception with no room. Thanks to the other guests who helped me. Also, when the gusts helped me , the reception staff did not even care to help me with the luggage and i had to take all my belongings by myself and the other guests helped. Staff said that their hands were tight as management has the last say. Management was nowhere to be found. A Manager should always be on the floor in hotels for the safety of the guests. Unacceptable. manager, was never at the premise and obviously careless with the staff and guests.
