No heat in room / not clean / you can do better EconoLodge

No desk person when I walked in, had to wait 5min. for someone to show up. The elevator didn't work. In the middle of the night don't know how many people were fighting or throwing furniture around for almost an hour. I will probably pay a little extra next time.

Elevator out of order. No one at the desk to get towels or blankets. We had a top sheet and a thin spread on each bed. I slept in my clothes because I was so cold. We couldn’t control the thermostat. Found cigarettes from staff behind the microwave in the non-smoking room that gave me a sore throat and dry mouth. I was sure it was the smell of smoke from the drapes. Can’t prove it but damn. Boxes being moved in and out of the building all night long while people argued endorse slammed. No truckers here. That says it all.

The condition of this location needs to be fully retrofitted or closed.

- Not enough swipe cards so only one per couple. - Cleanliness was 3 out of 10 Sheets on the bed were clean. - Lights not working, elevator not working, decor beyond dated, water damage in bathroom and room.

The location was easy to find, right off the highway, and central to the activities we had planned during our vacation.

The floors in the room were dirty. The elevator was taped off with caution tape. Our entire floor wreaked of Marijuana. We only got 1 wash cloth for 2 people, we were told they kept getting stolen. There are families that live there that do not watch their children; the children were running around the parking lot. Most of the lights on our floor were out, the walk to our room was almost completely dark. Another guest of the motel vomited in the hallway on our floor. Housekeeping never came during our 3 night stay.

A real dump. Peeling paint. Dirty floor. Dirty, small bathroom. dips in mattress. Immediately asked for a refund and went elsewhere.

Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Not enough pillows. Comforter was too thin. Like not having anything on the bed.
