Für diese hochpreisige Übernachtung müsste ich erwarten können, dass dort Englisch gesprochen wird. Doch weder an der Rezeption noch beim Service sprach jemand Englisch. Als wir am späten Nachmittag/Abend ankamen, konnten wir nirgends essen, da es dort nur Restaurants mit Vorreservierung gab. Es war alles voll. Wir mussten dann bis nach 20 Uhr warten, bis es in einem der Restaurants noch Platz gab. Dafür, dass es All-inclusive war, gab es im Restaurant nur eine Portion; diese war auch nicht sehr üppig. Am nächsten Tag wollten wir am frühen Nachmittag am Strand einen Snack essen. Eigentlich sollte es dort Burger, Pizza und vieles mehr geben. Aber außer Pizza und Hotdogs gab es nichts. Die Servicekraft konnte auch keine Zutaten nachordern, da sie wohl alleine war. Für diese Preisklasse ist das ein Armutszeugnis.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The front desk was completely unhelpful, the system seemed outdated, and everything moved extremely slowly. It took over 90 minutes just to check in. On top of that, we were overcharged because we booked through Booking.com—they claimed they didn’t have the ages of our children and charged us an additional $400. We were a group of 40 guests staying for a wedding over 7 days, yet the hotel could not accommodate us properly. Their restaurant reservation system was unreasonable, you had to wake up at 6 AM and stand in line just to make a reservation when they opened at 7 AM. That completely defeats the purpose of a relaxing vacation. Despite traveling as a large group, they refused to seat us together, even though it would have only required moving a few tables. The facilities were also disappointing. The gym equipment was broken, and security at the gate was overly strict. Leaving the resort was a hassle, and no visitors were allowed under any circumstances. We spoke with the general manager, Diana, multiple times, but every interaction led to more frustration rather than solutions. One of the most unacceptable issues involved my mother, an elderly guest who cannot climb stairs. She was assigned a room in a villa that required walking up three flights of stairs, and there were no elevators. When we requested a room change, we were told nothing could be done that day. As a result, she had to stay cramped in another family’s ground-floor room, where they brought in an extra bed just to accommodate her. We were later told they could move her the next day only if another guest checked out, instead of prioritizing her clear medical need. For the amount of money we spent, this experience was extremely disappointing. There was no flexibility, no accountability, and no effort to provide basic customer service. Not even a partial credit was offered. Overall, this hotel severely lacks proper management and guest care.
