The Pavilions Phuket

We stayed at The Pavilions Phuket in December 2025 as a family. Unfortunately, multiple members of our family became acutely ill during and immediately after our stay, with symptoms including vomiting, diarrhea, weakness and dehydration. Two of us required medical attention, resulting in significant medical costs. Due to the illness, we were unable to enjoy more than half of our stay. On the day of departure, we were medically unfit to travel and asked to remain in the room until our airport transfer. We were charged an additional fee for late check-out under these circumstances. After returning home, we contacted hotel management, provided medical documentation and receipts as requested, and engaged in a lengthy email exchange. The hotel stated they could not link the illness to food consumed at the property. Regardless of cause, the impact on our stay and the documented expenses were real. What is most disappointing is the lack of follow-up and resolution. After our last replies and follow-ups, the property stopped responding entirely. We had hoped for a fair and constructive resolution but did not receive one. This was meant to be a special family holiday, and the experience was extremely stressful. Based on our experience and the way the matter was handled afterward, we cannot recommend this property.

They didn’t give back rest of my deposit. On the checkout they said that I can go and accountant will send rest of my deposit to my card. Next day I have got an e-mail from the hotel accountant that I will get nothing. I have been here 3 times, but never go back.
