Friendly staff Wooden base on beds dangerous Good breakfast

Room wasn't clean found cigarettes under the bed. The bedside lamp didn't work. The view from the room was terrible. Service in the restaurant was a disgrace and food was terrible wouldn't stay here again probably the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel.

Hotel was nice a little bit grubby Breakfast was very good

The good: 1) The rooms are spacious and comfortable 2) The location is great for getting around the town The bad: 1) It's noisy - parties and loud music (and we were on 5th floor) 2) Breakfast restaurant small, cramped and noisy 3) Could not eat in hotel on the Saturday evening - large parts of bar reserved for groups and restaurant was fully booked when we went down at 6pm on the Saturday. No consideration given to hotel guests.

The hotel d is centrally located in Drogheda. We had a large room with a water view of The River Boyne. A huge issue for us one one that should have had a simple fix. There are no power outlets on the side of the room where beds are located. Husband uses a CPAP machine and always checks for power immediately upon arrival. He went down to front desk to ask about an extension cord and was told it would be right up. Hours later I called and was told "no problem, I'll bring it right up." An hour later no cord. I called again and was told they were looking for one (4 hours total.). We decided to move the very heavy bed so he could go to sleep. We had flown from Seattle to Dublin and were exhausted but kept waiting. Never got a cord. Too bad as hotel was okay other than that and some needed refurbishing taking place. Good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good wifi. Bummed

great location; very clean and nice food. the only think I would say negative would be the carpets needs update and a bit of a paint job. but I come back again.

Very sparse rooms. Desk staff quite clipped and short with us. They were still cleaning our room at 5 PM the day we checked in. Also, whomever designed the shower water controls ought to be committed because they are utterly insane. Otherwise parking lot is across from hotel, easy to walk to anywhere.

Well situated, river view rooms are pleasant. Good sound insulation. We did have some problems with check in, the room wasn't ready by 3.15 pm. We were then given one which turned out to be not ready. The next replacement was being decorated ! However the receptionist dealt with it well and we received a room upgrade and profuse apologies. Happy with that.

Hotel is located in a great spot for seeing the usual attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were forewarned the parking situation in downtown may be an issue but the valet parking at the hotel was very convenient. I would definitely return.
