The D Hotel

Room and hotel is lovely and clean. Don’t hurt yourself though, the first aid box is not kept in a good state and the staff appear untrained in their response. I tried to contact them after my stay with this feedback directly, giving them to the opportunity to address but have had no response after over a week of waiting.

Checked in given keys wrong too room (wrong number wrote on card. Reception has mask hanging off one ear whilst serving. Doesn’t look very professional even with screens. The screens only partially protect as most of the time was spent at the gap between the area. Hotel was used to sleep as was attending a function nearby so didn’t use or require other services. On arrival at 130 am we wait nearly 20 minutes to gain entry to the hotel. NoBody picked the buzzer or the phone number. Not acceptable to have guests locked out. When doors locked they should be manned for returning guests

Very nice. The bed was a little hard but I appreciate the new sheets, clean room, great breakfast, amazing coffee.

Booked through hotels.com when arrived I was asked for card, I assumed this was for security and found out they had charged me again at the hotel. I asked for a refund before checkout and only by chance did I learn that if I had left the refund would not have happened as they needed the card to authorise it. I extended my stay by 1 night and they tried to charge for the whole weeks parking again £40. Beds are terrible as were the pillows. Kept awake all through the night by unruly patrons on the weekend. Meals at the bar were expensive and no one knows who has ordered what.

Everything was good except people outside main entrance on the phone at 2 o'clock in the morning with phone on loud speaker for about an hour 😡. Lovely view from bedroom window except the eye sore on the right 😔.

Great customer service from the lovely blonde receptionist ( didn't get her name) to the bar staff , very accommodating lady in the evening and gentleman at breakfast. The room was exceptonally clean. Great shower. The softest towels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Slept really well which is not always the case in such establishments. Would definitely stay again.

Great modern hotel. A shower that works and a comfirrable bed with polite and helpful staff.
