The Windsor Hotel

Read a lot of bad reviews of this place but it is no where near as bad as people say. Comfortable enough, adequate breakfast and amazing location. Staff are also cool and helpful and polite.

This is not a 4 star hotel by international standards. More like 3 stars. Quite old facilities requiring renovation. Very basic rooms, especially the bath room. The pool on the roof is small, water was cloudy, no shade. Breakfast was basic.

Rooms did not have the amenities that were advertised when I booked

The position of the building is good. I arroived in the afternoon. The customer service good for the welcome. Bad things: -at the reception they give to you the ac remote, why not leaving it in the room? I went upstrair and was the wrong one. I had to come back two times to get the good one -status of the building is not the best especially, for the rooms. I could not open correctly my window so all my stay was with lights on. 3 stars would be more appropriatem

Horrible stay at an awful hotel! A/C not functioning for the first 3 nights and after several requests to fix it. Receptionist kept repeating "It's not my job!" for all room related issues. In-Room water was not provided during the stay and mini-bar remained empty although otherwise promised. Wi-Fi signal poor or non-existent and the receptionist blamed it on my phone. Well, he even blamed my phone on the fact that he gave me wrong Wi-Fi password. 5 TV channels showing Maltese channel, but even the TV volume couldnt cover the noise coming from neighboring rooms. Shower drain clogged for the whole stay. And to top it of, BED BUG BITES all over my body after a 5-day stay. Please be WARNED about this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

B’fast included was great. Unfortunately they no longer have dinnerware. Good pool but a bit cold . Very busy as we tried to stayed for 2 days more but had to find another

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Definitely NOT a 4* hotel! More like a hostel for refugees. We stayed one night only and checked out first thing in the morning. The bathroom was dirty, balcony door was broken, AC was broken. The room was not the same as on the pictures. Breakfast was disgusting. This hotel is definitely one to stay AWAY from!!!

The location of this hotel is probably it's best feature. Just off the main coast road, fairly quite, but less than a minute to the seafront.

Really friendly and welcoming staff at the hotel set a precedent for what would be a wonderful trip to Malta. A real friendly Maltese welcome so thank you and I will return in the future :)
