The Windsor Hotel

Overcharged by hotels.com first of all. Paid €60++ a night ROOM ONLY, whereas hotel charged €40 a night including breakfast. Phone in room didn’t work. Had to get lock fixed on sliding door as it was broken & tv had bad reception. Lift was broken, my 81 yr old mother struggled with this as she is on a walking frame, her toilet when flushed rose to top of rim. Would like a refund please. This is more a hotel.com error for extortion & not doing your research into the hotels you are representing. ill be posting on social media otherwise.

Would have loved for the jacuzxi to be operating. Nice srea with restaurants nearby.

Good location . Big clean room and nice staff.

Good location, friendly staff and relatively inexpensive.

1. Constantly having to ask for towels toilet rolls etc. 2. Sockets hanging of the wall and sparking in bedroom. Reported but not rectified. 3. Was told if fire in restaurant, for emergency exit we needed to get the lift to second floor walk width of building to go down stairs to Ground floor for exit. 4. Bath water was orange (Rust in pipes maybe) 5. Not a single apology from staff about issues

Terrible beds and pillows

This is the second time I have stayed here and have to say for value for money it really is 10/10. The staff are very helpful and so friendly and the location is superb!my room was cleaned every day and was very comfortable. The hotel bar has everything you could need and I found it a nice place to relax! I have read some of the bad reviews and have to say I honestly have no idea where they come from?? I had ANOTHER great stay here and look forward to coming again in the new year! Thank you very much Windsor hotel!!

What a lovely place, full of charm and great location, the staff were amazing, definitely go there again.

The location is good, but that is pretty much the only thing. Breakfast is served at a restaurant in the corner and starts at 7:30, so if you are there for work and it starts at 8-8:30, then you cannot have it (and warning their coffee machine sometimes sprays coffee on people :(( The AC in the room does not have a remote (you can get it from the reception for a 50 euro deposit). Shower in my room did not drain well and I had to stop the water every minute and wait for another minute for it to drain. The worst thing was that when they changed my towel, I got "new" towel that had fresh brown stain (see the photo if uploads). It was disgusting.

What can I say my first room the balcony door wouldn't close so a/c no good after alot of asking they finally changed the room next room was o.k. but not what I played for. Then on first night got back the a/c broke down after 1 hour it was 35 degrees so had to fight again to change room so after another hour of fighting with them they give me a room this one a single not the room I played for.then next morning had to fight again to get my double room so finally got room that everything work so first day there had to change room 4 times.staff not helpful they don't care not a nice hotel old things broken the spa was broken the sawna was broken and small kids pool had no water for the price you pay everything is broken. Wouldn't stay there again. Crazy haven't to change room 4 time during first day and night.they don't clean room have to ask for everything towels toilet paper etc.they don't swipe floor nothing. Not great location have to get local bus everywhere.i'm not fussy person I just want what I played for and everything works in the room. Never again stay here.
