City River Hotel

A great hotel with the most attentive staff. It was an absolute pleasure.

Great 5 mins to pub st, and easy to find. Good hotel, great pool on the roof, good view of city.

This was the second time I've stayed at City River. I love this hotel. Fantastic, friendly staff, great location, awesome rooftop pool.

We added an extra night in Siem Reap at the end of a 14 day Vietnam / Cambodia tour. The hotel was excellent, the restaurant very good value for money, with great food. The only complaint was the bed was very firm, so not very comfortable. The shower was the best we found on the whole trip.

Went to Siem Reap for a 2 day break from my business trip and overall the experience was great. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, the room was just a basic room but very clean. They also have a rooftop pool with a great view of the city. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and is a few minutes drive away from the temples. The only negative was experiencing a power outage a couple of times, but I heard that is common in Cambodia. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

staff always helpful and obliging. Breakfast ok. Anyone with dietary issues will find the breakfast limited. Restaurant menu was extensive. Central to lots of great restaurants that were only a short walk away. Also central to the tourist centre. Loved the pool after a day working. Will definitely stay here again.

Our 4 night stay at the City River Hotel was fantastic. It was recommended to us by a friend abd now I'd like to recommend to all travelers. Staff are very friendly, very helpful and the place is clean and tidy. It's very close to the Old Market where you'll find everything - markets, restaurants, bars, art market, massage places - absolutely everything within walking distance. Great hotel.

The hotel is situated opposite the city river and is lovely, the staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well equipped, clean & comfortable. There is a lovely pool & bar on the rooftop which has amazing views for miles. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from 'pub street' which is where all the night life and amazing restaurants are situated. I would love to return to Siem Reap and would happily return to this hotel.

We were recommended this from some friends. When we got there it wasn't a patch on the place we stayed in Phnom Penh and it was more expensive too. The room was ok but very basic. The linen on the beds didn't seem as clean as it could have been. Breakfast was a bit of a lottery and we only had one meal in the hotel restaurant whilst staying there because the quality was pretty poor compared to restaurants close by. It is close enough to the centre to be easily accessible whilst far enough out to be quiet on an evening but whilst we loved Siem Reap and will return, we will find another place to rest our heads.
