Super 8 by Wyndham Butler

The location was convenient for my use as well as the price. The room and general condition looked a bit "run down" but for me I just wanted a place to sleep for the night and was out most of the day.

The hotel is in a quiet area, easy access to the highway, not far from Pittsburgh, and if you need itmes while there. There are food and shops. It was a few problems checking in, there was no fridge or microwave in the first room I got, and the others I was given the tub was not very clean, and one room had a old TV. The lady that checked me in was great, she cleaned the tub herself, and made sure I was good for the rest of the stay.

Travelura did poor job of advertising breakfast after I paid $3 extra but motel didn't have breakfast since covid started and they only refunded the $3 after two phone calls and over 30 mins. on hold. :(

Commode wouldn’t flush. No bath towels. Leftover food and trash from previous guest. Bathtub duct taped. Coffee maker but no cups. Dirty windows. Sheets with cigarette burns. Front desk said there were no other rooms even though the parking lot was almost empty. Was told that the hotel manager only works weekdays from 3-5 pm. Called Wyndham and they gave me the run around.

I didnt stay, I went to the Days Inn across the street!! The room was dated, dirty, smelly, the blankets had multiple cigarette burns in them, the lamp shades were all torn, stains on the chair that appeared broken, the other guests looked like bums off the street!! I returned the next day to get my refund, the woman at the desk apologized and refunded my money, which was billed twice to my card!!

I don’t know who runs this place but the place is a trap house. Full of people going from room to room looking high and out of their minds. One stated that an organization pays for them to stay there and so the building is full of the same people getting a free stay to get their life together and get clean. As he’s nodding off talking to me. Stated he and his girlfriend had been there a month now. The carpets look like they haven’t been vacuumed in years. And that’s the hallway and the front walk in area. So I never even made it to the rooms. The franchise should really look into this hotel because this one makes there whole chain of super 8’s look bad.

The room furniture looks like it had been there since the hotel. Carpetting is also old. Needs updated. Light bulb out on one of the lamps. TERRIBLE continental breakfast. No fruit, no milk, no cereal, cheap packs of sweet buns. Would not recommend.

My boy and I were in butler to practice on his motorcycle, at the switchback motocross indoor arena. Was a nice price for overnight, and what we needed it for. I would do it again!!!!

Except for a few workers the front desk workers are horrible

A 2-star hotel really a 1-star hotel. Unattractive and disappointing. Rooms were musty. A few stale pastries for breakfast…could do better for your money.
