Super 8 by Wyndham Frankfort IN

Towels and washcloths were clean but stained. When wet looked almost black in the center. Tub was super slippery from where the soap and shampoo leaked into it. Bed cover had burn holes in it. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Probably the only saving grace as to why we did not complain. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, coffee was dark water, juice was dark and not very good, tried pancakes one morning and couldn’t even eat them. Fruit was fairly fresh.

Lee at the front desk was very helpful with 3 different requests, clothes hangers (there were none in the room, he found 4 for the 5 of us), had a wine opener we could borrow and a postage stamp we bought.

Attendant was rude and harrassful.

Smooth check in and check out. Completely pest free room, very clean. Immediately after arrival we thoroughly checked the room for any roaches, bugs or other pests. There were NONE. And every corner we saw was dust-free. Bathroom was as clean as possible, even though there were some problematic areas due to the age of the facility (silicone around the edges etc). The beds were true to size, very comfortable (rather soft). The breakfast was OK (toast + butter + jam, cereal + milk, coffee + tea + juice, muffins, yoghurt, apples). The curtains allowed very well to block the light during night. The area was very calm, no noise from the neighbours or traffic. TV was working. Room was light and spacious. Fridge and microwave functional and very clean.

The blanket on the bed was very thin (the TV kind, not the stuffed one for the bed). There was a thick mold in the ventilation on the ceiling of the bathroom. No hangers for clothes, but there were two very large drawers. No bedside lamp, only quite sharp and white light from the ceiling. The ventilator in the bathroom quite noisy.

I hade a great stay and breakfast was awesome!!
