Super 8 by Wyndham Frankfort IN

other than the gentlemen at the counter who kept apologizing and was professional -NOTHING Else was remotely appropriate. No elevator, No pool. No fitness center. Nothing free no coffee in room or in the lobby except breakfast. Breakfast did NOT look good and was not continental, it was plain and cheap. towels were from 20's, 1820's! CIg burn in bedspread. Cheap mattress, cheaper sheets. Spartan furnishings. Worse hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in better camping tents.

Cleanliness, value for price

Seemed confusion at check in, but she was new.

Overpowering odor when you enter hotel. Said their air freshener wasn’t working correctly. Ceiling light in room falling out of ceiling. Shower/tub drain plugged with hair and dirt. Had to clean It out to take a shower. Dirty towel in bathroom. Someone smoking weed outside. Roach in room later that night. No coffee maker. Bathroom not handicap oriented. Tub hand rail had been removed and black electrical tape put over it. No non slip treatment of any kind in tub.

It was clean and quiet, and very close to where I was doing my business

The toilet tank was not properly attached and wobbled around when you tried to use the toilet.

Didn’t feel unsafe.

Room had roaches, no elevator to second floor.

I would not stay here again

Your mileage may vary with your experience, as illustrated by the reviews. This is mine. It's a budget motel. You have to go in with that expectation. You aren't staying at a 5-star. My wife and I were in town for one night to visit family members whose jobs had them located in Frankfort for a few months. In a city this size, options for dining and hotels are limited, but plenty can be found. This Super 8 experience was adequate for the night. It appears to be a favorite location for construction workers on an extended stay job. That's okay. It was quiet, the AC/Heat and TV worked. I did not eat the continental breakfast but grabbed a coffee. It was fine. Check-in/out was quick and easy—no staff problems. It did seem to have a faint odor of something, but I can't say it was smoke or food preparation, and it wasn't bothersome to me. As others have said, the bathtub/toilet room is tiny, but I didn't need to be in there too much. Towels and linens were budget quality, but that is what I'd expect. I have no reason to ever return to Frankfort as my family members will be moving on to another job site soon, so I cannot compare or recommend other accommodations in Frankfort. All in all, it served the purpose. Our room was clean and functional. What more can one say? Oh, the fridge did work but it only chilled my soft drinks. They never got COLD. Not a big deal for one night.

We stayed for one night. Check in and check out went smoothly. The room was clean and had all the amenities as advertised. The experience is what one would expect for a 2 star hotel.

Convenient location to interstate

Very dated, no elevator. Bathroom was very small. No extras in room ironing board etc.
