It’s a big resort with multiple restaurants and great beach.

They don’t care about the hygiene. The staff are not polite enough.

Location, facilities and the staff

When requesting something to the room, it very rarely came. Plus the housekeeping was hit and miss. In our room it was good, but our daughter’s room seemed rushed and inadequate. Toilet rolls not replaced, no consumables etc. It also isn’t very accessible. I have a disability, and there was no ramp to get up to the restaurants etc.

Our stay at Le Méridien in Mauritius was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we experienced first-class Mauritian hospitality at its finest — warm smiles, genuine kindness, and attention to every little detail made us feel truly welcomed. The room was outstanding: impeccably clean, spacious, elegant, and designed for absolute comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I honestly slept amazingly well. What truly sets this resort apart is its legendary hospitality. The staff consistently go above and beyond, creating a next-level resort experience that feels both refined and deeply personal. The culinary experience was equally impressive. Breakfast was excellent with a fantastic variety of fresh and high-quality options, while lunch at O Jade was simply outstanding — delicious food, beautiful presentation, and a wonderful atmosphere. Amazing spa as well. A truly memorable stay in paradise. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, and authentic Mauritian hospitality.

The resort is beautiful, the beach is amazing, and the seating areas are lovely. The restaurants are great, the food is varied, and the staff are friendly. One thing that makes the resort stand out is that they employ an Arabic-speaking staff member, Hisham, who is truly exceptional. He helps you with anything he can, never falls short, and constantly checks on you and asks about your stay. Adarsh is also excellent.

La gentillesse du personnel, la proposition des activités (ski, wake, voley, tennis, cours de sport…), l’ambiance de l’hôtel.

Les prix dans les restaurants de l’hôtel sont très chers.

Jedzenie w restauracji bufetowej bardzo dobre, ale to co się dzieje w pozostałych restauracjach przechodzi najśmielsze wyobrażenie. Lunch, czy kolacja w 3 restauracjach tematycznych to jest inna liga jedzenia w hotelach. Te dania były doskonałe, smak, sposób podania, no nie ma się absolutnie do czego przyczepić. Obsługa w hotelu na każdym etapie starała się więcej niż standardowo, każdy zawsze uśmiechnięty, wszyscy przemili - rewelacja.

Jeśli liczysz na życie miasteczka w okolicy, by np wieczorem wyskoczyć poza hotel na drinka, czy pospacerować w okolicy sklepów i kawiarenek, to niestety w najbliższej odległości nie ma co robić - sklep ok 500m od hotelu, poza tym inne hotele, kilka domów i raczej to wszystko, niemniej w hotelu jest co robić, więc to nie jakiś dramat.

Le personnel est adorable, tout le monde dit bonjour. Le service de ménage est au petit soin, merci à Lilah, la conciergerie est très réactive et la chef de la réception a été très aimable et d’une grande classe. Le spa, la salle de sport, la salle à neige et les messages sont vraiment divins et bien équipés. Je conseille fortement.

Le buffet est très bon mais le prix (60 euros) de base est peut être un peu élevé toutefois les restaurant à thème peuvent être une alternative moins chère et plus écologique vis à vis du gâchis fait au buffet.
