"Warm and welcoming Covid prepared hotel"

From the moment of arrival, your staff at the hotel, were fantastic. Nothing was a problem, everyone was friendly and courteous. We loved it there. Your spa/pool area is very well run. Your food in the restaurant was fabulous, and we loved chatting to Kerry? think that was his name (from Nigeria). Well done on your fantastic work, and we will be back.

"So rude ….."

I had a lovely experience but travelled with a group og girls and they’re experience was shocking - rudness of staff which I witnessed and underhand comments being made about our group - totally unprofessional and advised at check out the same.

"A great experience and a chill out location "

A great destination with brilliant staff. Excellent food and very clean . A little pricey given the last time I stayed there is was less then 120 euros and now 250 per night.

Lovely hotel. But check in requires credit card or cash payment in full up front. Won't except debit card. Should have been made aware of this on booking. Luckily I had cash. As only had debit card

Firstly on our arrival, we were both very impressed with the hotel and we were also both very impressed with the bedroom facilities too. However, I’m afraid that is where all the good things ended. The following is a summary of our stay:- 1) Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, my fiancé and I went up reception to check in. The lady at reception was fine at first - checked us in - then got the payment of our room that was due, then she just gave us our room cards. She never told us where our room was (which floor etc). She never told us where we could get something to eat. She also never told us, where we could get our breakfast the following morning. 2) We found our own way to our room and as I said above, we were very impressed with the room. 3) On Friday, we went down to the bar / restaurant. We sat down and got some food menus. We weren’t asked, did we want drinks or anything. After about 20 mins, I got someones attention to take our orders. My fiancé ordered Soup for starters and the Salad for Main Course. I ordered Soup for starters and Chicken Wings (which I’m a big fan of) with Chips for the Main Course. We also ordered 1 pint of Guinness and a Diet Coke. After around 25 mins, our food or drinks drinks had still not come. I went up to the bar and said that I was waiting on the drinks above. There was a pint of Guinness lying there god knows how long and this was given to me (needless to say, I didn’t drink

"was expecting better"

Our stay was OK, but have to say I was expecting better, staff were friendly, room was nice, my back wasn't great after the bed. The worst coffee I have had in a long time, no barrista and when I asked for non dairy milk it was just run through a machine in place of the dairy milk with the same tubes, when my latte didn't reach the top of the glass the server just topped it up with water!

"Disappointing"

This was my fourth New years eve staying at the hotel. First year ...... service was AWFUL second year..... much better third year....... outstanding this year has reverted back to being atrocious again. Im so disappointed as I look forward to my time away only for it to be spoiled by poor service! Even at check in , there was no one present for ages... I was just standing there ( as were other residents)awaiting a receptionist. When I got to the room, the room was absolutely FREEZING. It took ages for it to warm up. Another complaint I have is the lack of seating in the bar on NYE. For heavens sake it is one of the busiest nights of the year. All hands should be on deck , working away like bees. I will add here that there is one OUTSTANDING worker. Her name is Lisa and she is the hardest working person on the team. Absolutely brilliant and deserves a mention. ( and a medal!) Yes there was staff present but lacked training ( how hard is it to clean a table or pick up a chip from the floor!) interest and motivation. I know people may ask why I bother going back! MW has an appeal and an atmosphere that is hard to beat. Breakfast is beautiful and rooms are nice. Spa is lovely and pool is pleasant. I wish MW would review their staff and previously high standards and put a plan and trained staff in place to deal with the masses at peak calendar times.

staff in the main bar not very helpful had to wait 20min just to get bar menu and retrieve it myself despite the fact there was at least 5 floor staff. Very poor overall bar service, rooms look tired in desperate need of a make over shower pressure low and at times cool temperatures. Will not be returning . Very disappointing week end. The only saving grace was Shaun the bar tender in the residents bar.Witty entertaining and helpful
