Good location with easy access to local attractions; comfortable bed and very clean. Great breakfast with a number of choices.

Extremely limited parking at the property and even fewer on road or off road options nearby! Road noise could be bothersome as well as noise from visitors to the adjoining pub until closing time.

The staff were great and my evening meal was tasty and satisfying. The breakfast however did not meet expectations to the price.

I asked for a double bed but what I got were two singles bonded together with a mattress cover with a zip down the middle which made it uncomfortable to sleep on I ended sleeping on top of the duvet folded over to provide a little extra comfort. If they had even thought about getting a double mattress it might improve things The shower in the room seemed great but i could not fit through the gap enough to get a shower the glass panelling is fixed too near the wall fitting for a slimmer person if i had spoken up at the time maybe the owner would have rectified but I was so tired

Member of staff, Kev, was brilliant… so helpful and welcoming … good and drinks all excellent

Had confirmed booking for double room but available rooms not made up so only option was a twin room… bed very uncomfortable so didn’t sleep well unfortunately… was advised on check out that we shouldn’t have been able to book, so error was with booking.com … had it not been for the excellence of Kev we would have requested a refund

The room was good and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fabulous, never tasted eggs so good.

Stair rail a bit wobbly, Dinner menu could improve, simple homemade food would be better.
