I had an extremely disappointing experience at 24 South Hotel, and I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here—especially for events or conferences. Despite prepaying for my room through the official conference link, I was somehow overcharged upon arrival. The situation only worsened from there. My reservation was cancelled without my knowledge, and staff falsely claimed they had spoken to me about it—which is completely untrue. To make matters worse, when my conference liaison arrived, they were told I was a “no show,” which was both embarrassing and inaccurate. After initially insisting they were fully booked and could not accommodate me, a room suddenly became available just 30 minutes later. This inconsistency speaks volumes about the lack of organization and communication among staff. For a hotel that hosts this conference annually, the level of disorganization is unacceptable. There seems to be no clear system in place for managing reservations tied to large events, and guests are left to deal with the consequences. Overall, this experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting reliable service—especially for important events.

Great location, walkable to everything downtown. Comfortable beds and coffee in the room.

The bed is too high for short people and older folks. Wish it had been lower.

Stayed here one night when traveling through the area. Hotel is not located that far from highway.......... but far enough that you hear no noise and get an amazing night's sleep. Hotel is quite charming, very clean and comfortable. Love the location, you can walk to many cute little restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when in area.
