Our Thermal Suite facilities include a Hydrotherapy Pool, Herb Sauna, Steam Room, Ice Bucket Shower, Experience Shower, Infrared Sauna and 2 Relaxation Rooms. Visited Dunboyne Castle for a day spa trip. From beginning to end it was such an enjoyable experience. I had an amazing back massage with Andreea - she was so friendly and the experience was so relaxing!!

"Wedding anniversary"

Couples night away for our second wedding anniversary Beautiful building beautiful reception area We managed to get our room early which was good Disappointed with the room and the cleanliness of it to be honest Very old and ragged and definitely needs a re vamp Lunch was nice Cocktails where terrible Shocking, no presentation and crappy glasses Dinner was nice I got chicken supreme was OK steak and muscles where devine and big portions Lovely staff in the ivy very nice Bed really comfortable and spa was nice and clean Just very disappointing room and to be honest for the price we paid for less than 24 hours stay I wouldn't come back

Spa was nice and relaxing. Room was clean and presentable.

Grounds or “walking path” were terrible, just a cut field that looks to have been developed once upon a time but long neglected. It’s also not a “castle” at all so I’m not sure why they still call it Dunboyne castle other than the historical element. The bar downstairs was bang average. Crazy loud music and chairs that were falling apart. Had to move twice to get a nicer seat. Walls filthy, paint scuffed and grubby. Table dirty. Staff were sound. Very very expensive for what it is. Supposed to be 4 stars , 3 more applicable.

The Ivy Restaurant needs to upgrade their menu. The bar menu is better.
