Super 8 by Wyndham Decatur Priceville

Old motel with little upkeep, typical owners from another country getting all they can out of the motel without putting much into it.

Mirror and vanity were not clean; almost got locked in room 105...door handle and lock were loose. They advertise Internet but did not work. This was not the first time we had issues with internet at a Super 8. TV guide did not work. TV older version.

We reserved a room with a king bed, but they gave us a room with two queens. The card key took many, many tries before it worked each time we used it (even after having it replaced). The room smelled very moldy, and the A/C was very noisy. Still overall about what we expected given the price.

Really old and run down. There were people being arrested about three doors down from us. Pool was unusable. Did look like they were in the processes of redoing some rooms. I would not stay there again for any price.

The service was just mediocre, yet it was the best part if my stay. The room was not cleaned. The previous guest’s room keys were in the table, the used soap was still in the bath tub, damp towel in the bar. The refrigerator did not work. The bed was hard and I questioned its cleanliness. Although, it was made. I can only assume with clean sheets. The area is shady at best. I heard shots followed by sirens in the middle of the night. Could not wait to go and will never return.

The staff at checkout was very rude and couldn't speak or understand English. I asked for a receipt and was told i didn't get one because i used hotels.com. that didn't seem fair or right to me. So hopefully i have no problems and don't get charged mpre than once.

Will NOT ever use this hotel again! O e reason? Two days I had to take our towels to. the desk to get fresh ones. Three of six days the room was not refreshed. .

The room was surprisingly larger than I thought it was going to be. It was very nice, and had apparently been redone fairly recently. I also liked the breakfast. Their cold breakfast with cereal was much better then many competitors who have hot breakfasts that are not very good.

Bedding had cigarette burn holes, even in non smoking room, towels and washcloths were stained, carpet was stained and dirty, ceiling and walls in horrible condition, dead roaches in the bathroom, owner rude, and hung up on me when I called before my stay to ask a question. This hotel is extremely rundown and in need of renovation. Will NEVER stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone else. We had a soccer team stay and this review is from 10+ rooms, not just my opinion. The best part of our weekend was checking out!

The key wouldn't unlock my door no matter how many they made and tried. Had to get someone to let me in every time. Towels were Old and Stained awful, no cleaning would help them.Throw them all away. Bathroom smelt uncleaned..Carpets need tearing out and replaced just Nasty no Shampooing or Vacuming gonna help that situation either. Refrigerator and Air worked good .Friendly Staff...But eyerything else needs Replacing..Will never stay there again unless its been redone.
