Super 8 by Wyndham Decatur Priceville

The room appeared to be newly renovated but the AC didn’t not work well and it looked like there were stains on the sheets. The only positive thing I can say is the mattresses were very comfortable. Something on the ceiling was wrapped up and was leaking water one drop at a time, which would fall right on top of you.

The room was dirty. There was glass pieces in the carpet. The room key didn’t work most of the time.

The people at the front desk were arguing the whole time they were getting me checked into a room. One of our keys didn’t work. The room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, the beds were hard the sheets felt like vinyl and it was so hot no one could sleep! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

This hotel is a food choice for a brief stay. Clean and comfortable. Be warned, however, that if you book a Sunday night, several good restaurants near the hotel are closed because liquor sales are not allowed. It is a short trip down the road to Decatur, however, for a good meal and a drink, if desired.

Hotel could not find my reservation had to stay in room with a friend that booked directly through hotel

Booked a room for a company traveler late due to late arrival at previous reservation and room had been given away. Called the hotel to verify availability, booked the room and paid for through Expedia. When associate arrived (after 1:00 am in the morning) they also took cash payment from him. So they double charged for the same stay. The hotel says that it isn't double booking because he checked in night before. Also, at 10:45 am that same morning the hotel called and told him checkout was at 11 and if he was going to stay later we had to book an additional night. From the company side, we did not know he was told to make a cash payment until the associate arrived back to home office. The hotel was not helpful at all, they just told me to call Expedia, they would reimburse us. Expedia was very helpful and also spoke with the hotel in which there was no lead way made. The Management team at Super 8 - Decatur were not only unhelpful, but it has cost them any future business our company does in the future.

Front desk help wasn't well organized but room was nice.
