Sharm Holiday Resort

Horrendous, do not visit this hotel. The rooms are dirty, the bedding was filthy, stained mattress and duvet, bathroom thick with dust and grime, shower screen covered with soap scum. Booked with Love Holidays who didn't care and refused to find us alternative accommodation. Witnessed guests tasting the food at the buffet using the utensils then placing them back in the food. Booked all inclusive but ate out most nights as I didn't trust their hygiene standard. My daughter was ill for 2 days. I could go on but Trip Advisor only allow a certain number of word.

Staff were amazing couldn't do enough beds were clean and comfy cleaners didn't do tops and bathroom taps ect but we managed food was catered for English that was the let down but to be far if you didn't like anything they would cook you something else would I stay here again probably to see if any change with food staff made our holiday

We have just returned from our 10 night all inclusive stay at sharm holiday resort. We are both in our 60s and slightly disabled. Let me start with the staff. Contrary to some of the other reviews we found all of the staff to be totally professional, polite and welcoming. Big thank you to Ahmed,Ahmed, Camel,Muhammed and all the other bar workers. The manager with the purple shirt, I think his name was "Galal" was also excellent and looked after my partner wonderfully. Our room was spacious and clean with an excellent location by the bottom pool (no 925) .please remember that this is Egypt, so please don't expect the facilities to be western style 4☆ .Its simply not going to happen so if you want western comfort please don't book budget breaks in Egypt and expect more for your buck. Trust me, I'm well travelled, over 50 countries including third world African nations and have seen and stayed in some very poor hotels, this is NOT one of them and is more than suitable for a budget break. The beer from the bar is okay but served in small cups but the spirits are fine. If you are a drinker it's a simple rule,take your own reasonably sized glass(tumbler) and tip generously, you will not be disappointed and the beer will flow at an awesome rate. If you tip well you will be treated well, please bear this in mind. The top pool with the slides is heated and very usable even in the middle of January. The weather was superb. Lastly the food. Oh dear. This hotel is roughly 70% russian therefore you must understand that they will cater for the majority. It is not really aimed at English people therefore we both struggled. Having said that, Naama bay is walkable with plenty of restaurants, although please check the prices on the menu before sitting down so you know how much your meal should cost, they will try to skank you. The hotel pizzas are fine and you will get fried chicken etc but not every day. A visit to habada beach is a must, it's beautiful there. Overall ignore the doommongers that just love to moan about everything but have never travelled beyond benidorm and go to sharm holiday resort with an open mind and a few quid to treat the workers. You won't be disappointed and should like us have a fantastic time. WE BOTH LOVED IT ESPECIALLY THE KIND STAFF. ENJOY.

While I was resting calmly on a sunbed by the pool, an animator approached me and persistently invited me to join aqua aerobics. I politely refused. Some time later, a second animator came, and together they became even more insistent. At one point, they attempted to push me into the pool together with the sunbed, despite my clear refusal and obvious unwillingness to participate. My father witnessed this situation and ran to help me. From the outside, it may have looked like a joke or playful behaviour, but in reality, the situation was dangerous and completely out of control. While my father was trying to pull one of the animators away from me, the animator pushed or sharply pulled him backward. As a result, my father slipped on the wet tiles near the pool, fell, and suffered serious injuries to his head and elbow. I would like to highlight that the tiles around the pool are extremely slippery and do not meet basic safety standards. In such conditions, anyone could easily slip while simply walking by and suffer a severe head injury. As a result of the fall, my father sustained serious head and elbow injuries. After returning home, he underwent surgery performed by a surgeon. Sadly, on November 19 2025 , he passed away. All photo and video evidence of the incident is available. I find such behaviour by the animation staff completely unacceptable, as well as the lack of proper safety measures around the pool area. Aggressive and physical actions without guests’ consent, combined with unsafe flooring, pose a serious risk to guests’ health and lives.

Absolutely awful. Not 4 star at all. I went for New Year. When they said it was 2026, I felt it was 1986!.. when we arrived we were not given a chance to look around. I was shoved a piece of paper in my face to say did I think the room was good etc. If id looked around I would have said poor. The room was dirty. Falling apart. Bathroom disgusting. I had requested not too many steps, and we ended up with lots of up and down steps. I could not have used the bathroom. It was dirty and full of mold everywhere. Lots of dust and broken doors on the furniture. I rang reception to complain. I was told to go reception next day. They said I was upgraded to a premium room. I said I would like to see the worst rooms then! Got moved. The drinks and food all inclusive were the worst I ever had. Staff apologised because they only cater to Russian pallet. Do not book this place.

Where to start the hotel could do with a full makeover the hotel is shabby due to chipped tiles round the pool / loose stair rails / things laying about the towels are nice if you get the blue ones but the grey towels are old and worn The restaurant is the worse I have ever experienced, there was noting you could put together to make a meal , for example one the menu one day there was mashed potato /rice /pasta/ vegetables/ something that looked like lentils and little sausages but know choice if you didn't like sausages,noting for children at all most seem to live on donuts. If so there's lots if dry cakes and bread but butter is hard to find and most days there wasn't clean cups/ cutlery / or clean plates ( not that there was anything to put on the plates anyway , at the bar you were given plastic party cups to drink from , my advice DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL we went out everyday for our meals and outside the hotel there's lots to do evening entertainment is for half an hour at 10pm, the staff are friendly and helpful and the housekeeper worked hard and make a good job , overall though it wasn't a great experience at this hotel .

I have enjoyed the hotel, the staff and the atmosphere for several times and would go back without a thought. Like many hotels in Sharm, they are not beach located but do have access to two beaches depending on your preference. The staff are amazing and the support you get if needed is second to none. Ignore the reviews on food as it is international and not directed at any culture. The Team in general cannot be faulted and if nothing, they go that one step further to make sure you have a great holiday

Don’t go absolutely disgusting room was dirty the main reception toilets were vile the all inclusive is shocking food vile had to children that wouldn’t eat anything that was put out for the all inclusive not to hel the ceiling in the room fell down on me thankfully not one of the children complained to the manager on check out and was offered 50% discount on the room bill only if I signed a form to say the hotel was good and we had a Great holiday absolutely was not signing that dirty used plaster set in the same spot buy the pool for the full week we were there The pool was freezing so children couldn’t go in we had to eat out or get room service that was extra but served food that was at least you would half eat ice cream was not included never know anything like it On the plus side the chap at the lobby bar,small pool bar and the shop keeper were fantastic told you were to go to shop and get food etc First experience of Egypt and defo won’t be back

I personally was disappointed with the location through no fault of their own. It just looked like a building site outside the hotel the atmosphere at the hotel was prickly to say the least, not most because of the guests culturally it was extremely one-sided and inevitably the hotel was aimed predominantly at that culture. The staff on the other hand were absolute second and none from arriving there, and Salam taking our luggage to our room and making us feel welcome the moment we step foot in the hotel to Haythan and Mohamed and the buffet restaurant who made our visits for food bearable, even when the food was dire, big big shout out to Mustafa Capo at the reception bar. I can’t fault this guy absolutely second and none he was formidable as a service host couldn’t do enough for me my husband and our little boy we left very sad to say goodbye to him after 15 days. The food was aimed again, the predominant culture. There was only ever one source of protein on the menu in the evening, and the queues were massive for that. It was usually overcooked very dry under seasoned with the usual rice, which was of cooked dry pasta they shouldn’t be serving pasta no their pasta resembled Weetabix that had been left in milk overnight to describe the texture of it absolute no go the pizza I tried and tried when ordering at the bar and actually paying for my pizza that I wanted pizza based sauce and it was just the base with cheese. There is never any herbs no vegetables no tomato base whatsoever so it’s just a mozzarella mush for one of the better word I ordered the shrimp from the bar twice and twice it was overcooked. It was supposed to be all inclusive so yes in theory you got buffet breakfast lunch and dinner snack snacks so your snack snacks in the evening between 5 and 6 PM were whatever didn’t get eaten at breakfast and lunch. The bread was all sweet. The fruit just tasted weird having said that I literally didn’t need to pour myself a drink even when going to the buffet restaurant our table was set up drinks were there and ready. Usually the restaurant manager had it reserved and ready for us to come in and sit we had a little boy with special needs with us and they catered for him exceptionally well. They recognize that he didn’t do well with their food choice and couldn’t do enough to accommodate for that extremely disappointing to find that there’s no snacks and ice cream creams on offer for children considering it was all inclusive. It was a idea situation. We booked on the premise that we had a 24 hour mini bar not that we drink much alcohol we would’ve preferred soft drinks and water however, we got there. There was a working fridge, which did its job to keep you awake at night but when I asked about stock in the fridge, I was laughed out of town so that Needs changing on the loveholidays website because it’s it’s not stocked mini bar like advertised I wouldn’t rate it as a four star resort two at best the toilets in all of the main area so reception and poolside were in dire condition. Absolutely abysmal. Two pools the main pool aimed at the predominant culture visiting so it was heated. The music around that pool was aimed at the predominant culture visiting the pool situated in the specialty assisted area for those that have got special needs or need additional help within the room, low level, wet room, disability, access, doorways, etc. etc. the pool down that end was like an ice bucket. It was lovely and quiet area. I don’t get me wrong. I had need for the pharmacy on site 34 different times I had an extreme reaction to mosquitoes cause I’ve got an autoimmune condition. I was given Cortizone injections by Mohammed the doctor on site and they worked a charm, lovely gentleman very respectful again my husband developed a severe chest infection from a bout a flu that was managing to go about he has COPD so immediately needed a rescue pack which was bar over-the-counter for less than seven quid. We did several trips out. We did the quads during the day come all right, etc. etc.. Her husband did the parachute para Send thing. The second Beech we did was down 1 million steps and whilst it was an experience, I wish I’d known how many steps they were prior to going cause I have disabilities that made it extremely uncomfortable, but it was a wonderful experience to go down and onto that beach it was like Pirates of the Caribbean very eclectic did get ripped off at the airport going over there. Got targeted because we had disability badges on so they literally singled us out and asked how long we were there for and despite being booked for 15 nights they were adamant it was 16 and charged us 4800 Egyptian pounds for visas that were not necessary on the hole. It was an experience I wouldn’t like to go through ever again in all honesty, I went off the back of advice from friends many many years earlier about what beautiful place it was, etc. etc. and it was massively massively disappointing to say the least.

Myself and my family decided to spend Christmas here and honestly say the resort and hotel was amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us even for my son girlfriends birthday the staff sang and even made her a cake! Each and every member of staff we encountered I have nothing but great things to Say. We had 2 separate rooms and both were comfortable and clean cleaners even go above and beyond we are definitely planning on going back !!! Thank you for making it amazing Sharm holiday resort
