Sharm Holiday Resort

Drinks in very small plastic cups. If you were lucky you got a paper cup. Food was shocking. Every day they had a special usually hotdogs or burgers. Xmas day they went all out and served fried onions. Water went off on Xmas day in the rooms. Cracked tiles everywhere around the pool area. Heated pool but seemed to switch the heaters off at lunchtime. Animation team. Well I think there was. They just walked around. Tariq went over and above to support holiday makers but seemed to get in trouble for his efforts. Managers just bark orders whilst he really worked hard. Rooms very basic. If you’re an internet user you’re only getting a signal in reception. Unless you pay for your own service plan. Rats in the pool toilet. We were given oranges for telling the manager. It was like sorry but please don’t say anything. Locals bars call the resort -1 star. Atleast the weather was great. It’s a budget complex and definitely not 4 star.

The allocated room was terrible I immediately complained and was told it would be changed the next day. It was and this room was great. Food excellent, location great, staff first class. The only complaint is that the cleanliness was only 3 out of 5 if I rated it However, I would go again

We have just returned from Sharm Holiday Resort, mixed bag really, staff are great, especially if you tip. Wine is not included in the AI, beer is served in very small plastic cups, so you have to get two at a time, and go back often, when a bottle of anything is opened, beer, or pop it is left on the bar, not returned to the fridge, fanta, coke and lemonade is served from a large bottle, so loses its fizz quickly, all the spirits taste the same, petrol comes to mind! coffee is instant coffee in a big jar that you help yourself to, the same with sugar. In the restaurant they do not serve any alcoholic drinks, just soft drinks, water tea and coffee. The food is the worse I have ever had. I always find something to eat, but not here, there is no fruit served or anyway of making a salad. The weather was beautiful and the Hotel is nicely situated for shops, bars, restaurants and beach. The room was basic, but large and comfortable. we were on the ground floor which led out to the pool, the waterslides were open twice a day, and there is a bus service to the beach. This was a cheap getaway for us before Christmas, I would not return, but that is mainly due to the return journey, the security at the airport is horrific, our bags were searched 3 times, anything sharp like a corkscrew or nail scissors were chucked out of our case, and I mean chucked. we were treated like cargo, it was the worse treatment at an airport I have ever had, and I go away 5 times a year and I am quite used to airport staff. By the way, when you arrive and leave you have to fill in a form, you are not told about this, until you get to passport check, their are not forms around or pens, which is stressful and time consuming, especially after a 5 hour flight. They are not very helpful at all. Also there is no plug for bath or wash basin

I've just come back from 10 glorious days and wanted to say how good it was. Special mention to Mustafa in the Lobby bar who made sure we had plenty to drink and made us feel like family. Our cleaner was amazing even folded up my clothes and put it on the sofa bed. 2 bottles of fresh water each day. Had a bug in our room rang through to reception and a few minutes later there was our cleaner who sorted it out. Food was samey but we never went hungry. We will definitely go back. Got my boyfriend on the water slide and he cut the inside of his nose staff member went and got some gauze and started to dab his nose, he didn't even realise he had done it. Chef Mohammad kept us well fed each morning with omelettes and we appreciated it. All in all a really nice holiday couldn't fault it. They even gave us a ground floor room which I requested but didn't hear back so thought oh well but they catered to my mobility well.

Just awesome! I've travelled a lot and been to some great hotels. But Sharm Holiday Resort beats them all. The hotel was beautiful, especially the lobby and pool area, food was great, I loved trying all the local dishes and the doughnuts were amazing! We were made to feel like celebrities the whole holiday, the staff were so friendly and attentive. We are definitely going back!

Honestly the staff were fantastic nothing to much especially Mustafa the bar man . Lovely guy very funny very helpful. The restaurant and swimming pool wre vlean. The swimming pool was very cold they did say it would have heating on not so. One of the reasons we chose the hotel. Now to the bad part . The rooms were very dirty. The bathroom was very dated and I am going to say filthy . I had to wear my filp flops to take a shower. The whole time I was there not cleaned once. Disappointed.

Well I dont normally pay attention to reviews but I wish I had. Firstly the rooms little dated but livable man who is on housekeeping does a great job and he works long hours no faults there. Food Absolutely awful, people quing for this is an absolute joke the only good thing is the coffee but coffee is coffee. It reminded me of extremely bad school dinners served like mush and cold. I suppose breakfast was the better of it all but you can't ruin an egg! And if you like salad and carrots you've struck gold. I ate tuna from the fixed price shop for lunch and had dinner in the bay some lovely restaurants a few hidden gems. Shouldn't have eat and drink out constantly on an A/I holiday especially if you're on a budget and no catering at all for children so keep this in mind if you have them. On to THE DRINKS Wow absolute joke warm flat beer seved in a thimble sized cup! ALL the spirits tasted the same the vodka being the worst some days it tasted and smelt like dettol! Totally unacceptable. If you like a tipple bring your own duty free. Entertainment team dear oh dear useless wouldn't pay them in washers! Main desk staff were totally rude wasn't interested in problem solving not helpful at all. Barstaff ok if you tipped them often. WiFi another absolute joke! only available in reception and being shared by everyone else . All at the same time. In 2025 it should be available all over the complex. Had 2 argue to get a 2nd key its not acceptable to have to prop open your door with a flip flop when one goes out and one stays in. All in all this place doesn't even deserve a 1 star and to say its under new management I wouldn't like to have seen the old ones. This is my total honest review and I would have liked to have stayed somewhere nicer as this was my last holiday to Egypt Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Take no notice of had reviews. We've had a great fortnight here. Food & drinks good, lots of choice,no funny tummies, I am the one who definitely gets these on holidays, but not here! Yes hotel us a bit dated, rooms cleaned every day, water left in fmroom each day. Very friendly staff. Free WiFi in reception/bar area. Mini buses to 2 beaches, but can easily walk to Kanabash beach, Naama Bay, 20 mins. Huge turtle at this beach very close to snorkel area. My husband & I have had a great holiday here, fantastic value for money. Lots to do in local area & tours available. Swimming pools lovely & clean. Nightly entertainment every night. Hotel caters for all ages. We are a fit, retired couple & had a great time. Totally recommend Bluestone restaurant & bar in Naama Bay, fabulous food, great value for money, had my 70th birthday dinner there.

Visited the Sharm Holiday Resort at the beginning on November, our expectations weren't high as it was a cheap break away and rated a 4 star instead of our normal 5 star stay but we were very pleasantly surprised, food was basic which we expected, cleanliness wasn't 100% but more than acceptable, the staff however were ALL fantanstic and bent over backwards to help and make our stay very enjoyable, located within 5 minutes walk of Naama Bay shops, bars and restaurants and a couple more minutes away from the lovely but busy beach. Would definitely visit again.

The rooms are always spotless and perfectly organized. Every detail is taken care of with great attention and love. Wael does an amazing job – the towel art he creates is absolutely beautiful, from elegant swans to creative animal shapes decorated with flower petals. It’s such a lovely surprise to come back to the room and see his work. Excellent housekeeping and a wonderful touch of creativity!
