1906 Pine Crest Inn

I love the area and privacy of the location. It was beautiful and quiet. I loved our room and the old timey feelings. It was fun!

Great, quaint inn in the western mountains of North Carolina. Quiet with terrific vistas and plenty of ambience. Would definitely return.

I loved the Inn. I prefer places with history, charm, and less connectivity/EMF. This place was all of that, and it was close enough to town we could walk in if we chose. The innkeepers were fantastic and personable, and I would definitely come stay again. Delightful!

Located right off the quaint, small downtown area of shops and cafes and restaurants. It is in it's own little hamlet of cottages and makes for a very comfortable, country, "out of the way feeling", although it is so conveniently located. A hike along the river is accessible by foot as well. It was exactly what I had hoped for.

Breakfast was truly awful. Cheap store-bought croissants that were left in the refrigerator overnight. Everything in our Styrofoam boxes was half frozen, which made it even more unappealing. I understand that the restaurant isn't open. This felt like they took the cheapest, laziest solution. Half of a bed and breakfast is, in fact, an edible breakfast.

Terrible stay room was misrepresented and I feel mislead by the pictures

It is a very cozy and pretty place. Decor is a romantic setting for a couple weekend getaway. The evening lady was great. I should have called to verify things. They are not doing the cook to order breakfast right now. The hours say 7 to 9 and the evening lady told us a boxed breakfast is served starting at 7. We are very early risers and waited till 7 to start our day. But then was told on our check out day that it is 7:30.

Quaint Inn and super nice staff. Unfortunately due to COVID19 restrictions the dining room was not open so the fantastic breakfast we had heard so much about turned out to be a continental in our room. On the upside we were able to get it the night before and have our breakfast in bed!

Very pretty property and lovely grounds. The staff were warm, welcoming and informative. The suite was beautiful and especially clean and very cozy. We had a porch outside with rocking chairs to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. The town of Tryon has great restaurants and shops and is only a few minutes away. Overall a wonderful stay.

We had heard about the Pine Crest Inn over the years and were excited we finally were getting to stay there. The reality was a huge disappointment. Granted we were traveling with our dog so we never expect to get the best room but... The cottage smelled like mildew, the ceiling had cracks with water stains and the blinds had to be closed by each individual blind. I had put down a water bowl for my dog and the next morning a big bug was enjoying a swim. It is sad because you can tell it was once a relaxing, pretty place to stay. Somebody needs to invest a lot of money into the property to bring it back.
