Room was very nice

Clean good staff

Be careful going on to University Blvd from the Double Tree parking lot. Traffic is fast!

At check in the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. The ac in the room did not cool well, so it was an uncomfortable night. None of the ice machines on any floor, and when we asked the feont desk, they said they had no access to ice.

Madeleine at the front desk was SUPERB. Professional, friendly, helpful.

Shuttle bus from PIT Airport to Hotel. Not direct. We had to pick up others at FedEx. Nobody coming off an international flight wants any time added to the day.

This place does not honor reservations. They give out your room and keep your money. The front desk and managers are not helpful and rude. I will NEVER stay here or in any other hilton hotel.

They took my reservation but did not actually hold the reservation. I arrived late at night to find they had over booked and had no room for me. They sent me out to a sub-par hotel a short drive away that smelled of smoke and moisture and was certain not the quality of the doubletree. The doubletree front desk was curt and deadpan, and told me that they gave it away because I'd reserved on a third party site. Disappointed in Doubletree.

Obviously things were clean and neat in the room when I arrived as one would expect from the name Hilton

Getting woke up at 4:50 AM on a Sunday morning by ungodly loud music next-door at room 611. Then reporting it to the front desk and her acting like it was no big deal not offering an apology or anything.
