Hotel Morales Historical & Colonial Downtown Core

Todo estuvo perfecto. Personal servicial, buena limpieza.

The location was close to everything in downtown center and for the purposes of my trip. The suite was big as well and the interior of the hotel was pretty.

First: the staff. Very badly educated and not very collaborative. I requested help the first day I arrived because I needed urgently a suit pressed. They said they couldn’t do it for next day afternoon, only the night, so that I had to do it myself. Also, I requested if I could take a couple of hours extra of the check out (considering I paid the price of a suite), so that I don’t have to wait so long at the airport. They said I couldn’t and that I needed to pay 800 pesos no matter what and late Check out was until 4pm, which I didn’t need that much time. There was no convincing and talking around it. I accepted to pay it, then when it was 2pm they called and told me my time was over and that I needed to leave, even thought they told me the price I was paying for late checkout was until 4pm. I ordered in room service. They brought the wrong amount to charge after insisting they couldn’t just charge to the room and that I could pay at my check out. The worst: the bathtub of the suite. It was full of dirt and I couldn’t get into it because they didn’t clean it properly.

We appreciated the history of the building and the architecture. The interior decorations for the holidays were lovely and the overall decor was very appealing. Lots of plants in the open areas were wonderful. Our room was very quiet which we loved. The location within the city was perfect for us.

We didn’t have anything we didn’t like.

The hotel itself was lovely. The swimming pool was a delight and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The pillows were uncomfortable for me.

Grande chambre. Très belle architecture de l'hôtel et des parties communes, patios, plantes, fontaines... Petit déjeuner très bien.
