The Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain

We booked a triple room from Hotels.com. We spent 3 nights. All was ok. When we went to the reception for check out, they forced us to pay extra 149cad. They Said we should pay for daily resort fee. When we object to pay extra fee, they gave us a card of reservation fee inclusions. We were not informed about this during the reservation. And nobody told us about this while we checked in. This was an unproffessional attitude. So keep this in mind before you make a reservation

Hot tubs were dirty, and I did not like my room because it was right across from the elevators so it was noisy

Room was spacious, plenty of bars and restaurants near by.

Housekeeping would come very early, when asked to come back she handed us towels and water and walked off. This happened more than once! 09.30 was too early. There was a conference on and was asked to leave bar as private event, not acceptable especially as was happy hour!

The bed was very comfortable. The room and kitchen was well-equipped. The pool and sauna facilities were exceptional.

No complaints.

The price was too high and didn't match what we would have expected. The Westin seems tired and requires some upgrades. It feels like it was high end in its time but you defintiely require upgrades and renos if you are going to charge the prices you are charging. The free skating passes plus other activities were wonderful and we loved that

I didn't think the rooms were up-to-date, the whirlpool jets were not working properly

Stayed at Weston Trillium in Blue Mountain. I have loved this hotel for years. It’s a go to. It’s dog friendly. This year it was different. Sadly. The quality has dropped. There were four issues that need to be resolved. The toilet was not secured properly and shifted off the floor ( loudly ) each time you used it. Very loud. EVERY time. The sink in the kitchen had a plugged drain. Almost impossible to wash a dish - sink would just fill up. The rrobe they leave for guest use was so very old, not cotton, dirty looking. SHABBY. Very disappointing !! The liquid body wash in the shower was EMPTY I did bring it to their attention, but no one refilled the container. Sadly these items made the 500/night suite seem tired, old and broken. BERY DISAPPOINTING. I did call to discuss these matters with a staff member who advised I submit a review - said it would have more impact. ?? Better than our phone conversation ? Do here’s my review …..
